Priyanka Sarkar is an Indian film and television actress who mostly works in Bengali films. She started her career working in the Bengali television industry in 2003 while she was only 12 years old. Later she worked in several serials like Swapner Rong Nil, Aastha, Khela, and Nana R angar Dinguli as a teenager. She also worked as a child actor in the movie Dadar Adesh along with Bengali superstar Prasenjit Chatterjee. Her big career breakthrough came when she got the opportunity to star in the movie Chirodini Tumi Je Amar as the leading actress. The film released in 2008 and went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters in the Bengali film industry.
Goyenda Ginni was an Indian Bengali crime drama anthology television series that premiered on 7 September 2015 to 25 December 2016 and aired on Zee Bangla. It was produced by Shree Venkatesh Films, it starred Indrani Haldar, Saheb Chatterjee, Aditi Chatterjee and Indrajeet Bose. It marks the comeback of Haldar into Bengali television. Aalta Phoring was an Indian Bengali drama television series on Star Jalsha which premiered on 10 January 2022. It was produced by Susanta Das under the banner of Tent Cinema. It starred Kheyali Mondal, Arnab Banerjee and Saoli Chattopadhyay. From October 2022, the show starred Abhishek Bose as a new lead.

Kon Gopone Mon Bheseche is a 2023 Indian Bengali Romantic Drama television series that premiered from 18 December 2023 on Zee Bangla. The series is produced by under the banner of Zee Bangla In-house Productions. It stars Shweta Bhattacharya and Ranojoy Bishnu in lead roles.
