Giełczynek [ɡʲɛu̯ˈt͡ʂɨnɛk] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Strzegowo, within Mława County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland.^[1] It lies approximately 26 kilometres (16 mi) south-west of Mława and 94 km (58 mi) north-west of Warsaw.

It came into being on January 1, 1999, as a result of the Polish local government reforms passed in 1998. Its administrative seat and only town is Mława, which lies 109 kilometres (68 mi) north-west of Warsaw.
