Rear-Admiral Joseph Pierre Gilles Couturier CMM CD is a Royal Canadian Navy officer.

He joined the navy in 1983. [2] He served as Commanding officer of HMCS Fredericton from 2005 to 2007. Following this assignment, he was posted to Ottawa as an executive assistant to the Chief of the Defence Staff. After the tour in Ottawa, he was appointed commander of Maritime Operations Group Four. [2]

He assumed command of Maritime Forces Pacific/Joint Task Force Pacific on 14 July 2015. [3] In January 2016 it was announced that he would be appointed Deputy Commander of the Navy. [4]

He was invested as an officer of the Order of Military Merit in 2012 [5] and promoted to commander of the order in 2017. [1]

In 2018, he joined Levio Consulting, a Canadian IT and Business consulting firm as its Chief Operating Officer (COO).

In 2020 he joined Federal Fleet Services as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). [6]

Rear-Admiral William Moss Landymore, OBE, CD was a Canadian naval officer. By the end of the war Landymore had taken a series of positions in Ottawa before returning to destroyer command during the Korean War. He was promoted through the ranks eventually becoming the first Commander of Maritime Command. Landymore became embroiled in a public feud with the Minister of National Defence following the Unification of the Canadian Armed Forces and resigned as a result. He died at Halifax, Nova Scotia.

He commanded HMAS Canberra (2002–04), HMAS Anzac (2007–09) and the International Stabilisation Force (2009–10), and deployed on operations to the Persian Gulf, East Timor, and the Arabian Sea during the Iraq War. He served as Commander Australian Fleet from 2014 to 2018, Head Force Design within the Vice Chief of Defence Force Group from 2018 to 2019, and Deputy Commander United Nations Command, based in South Korea, from 2019 to 2021.
