The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Bruny Surin is a Canadian former track and field athlete, who was the winner of a gold medal in the 4×100 metres relay at the 1996 Summer Olympics. In 2008 he was inducted into Canada's Sports Hall of Fame as part of the 1996 Summer Olympics 4x100 relay team. In the 100 metres, he has broken the 10-second barrier multiple times and holds a personal record of 9.84 seconds.
Captain Percival Talbot "Percy" Molson, MC was a Canadian star athlete and soldier. After an outstanding sports career with McGill University, Molson joined its administration. Molson died fighting in World War I. In his will, he donated funds for McGill to build its football stadium, named Percival Molson Memorial Stadium in his honour.

The Olympisch Stadion or Kielstadion was built as the main stadium for the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. Following the Olympics it was converted to a football stadium. Its current tenant is K Beerschot VA, a Belgian football club. There are no remnants of the Olympic athletics track.

He finished fifth in the 110 hurdles at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics with a timing of 14.07 seconds. He was honoured with the Arjuna Award in 1961 thus becoming the first athlete from the country to get the award and with the Padma Shri in 2005. After graduating from McGill University, he worked at the International Olympic Committee, including 35 years as the Director of Legal Affairs.
