Giordana Sorrentino (born 27 April 2000) is an Italian boxer. [2] She competed in the women's flyweight event at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan. [3] She won the gold medal in the women's light flyweight event at the 2022 Mediterranean Games held in Oran, Algeria. [4]

She competed in the bantamweight event at the 2019 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships held in Ulan-Ude, Russia. [5] She qualified at the 2020 European Boxing Olympic Qualification Tournament to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.

In 2022, she won the gold medal in her event at the European U22 Boxing Championships held in Poreč, Croatia. [6] Two months later, she competed in the light flyweight event at the 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships held in Istanbul, Turkey. [7]

The boxing tournaments at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo took place from 24 July to 8 August 2021 at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan. However, for the first time since the London Games, the programme has been updated, with the number of men's events reduced by two and the number of women's events increased by the same number.

Zareen won gold medals at the 2022 Istanbul, and 2023 New Delhi IBA Women's World Boxing Championships. She also won gold medal at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. She won the bronze medal in the Light flyweight event in the 2022 Asian Games.

Qualification for the boxing events at the 2016 Summer Olympics is based on the APB and WSB World Rankings, APB and WSB World and Olympic Qualifier, the 2015 World Championships, and the 2016 World Olympic Qualifying Tournament. For the women's events, qualification is based only on the 2016 Women's World Championships. For both men and women, each boxer is selected to compete for the Games through the four Continental Olympic Qualifying Tournaments to be held in 2016.

Lovlina Borgohain is an Indian boxer. She won a bronze medal at the 2020 Olympic Games in the women's welterweight event, becoming only the third Indian boxer to win a medal at the Olympics. She won gold medal at 2023 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships and bronze medals at the 2018 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships and the 2019 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships. Borgohain is the first female athlete and the second boxer from Assam to represent the state in the Olympics. In 2020, she became the sixth person from Assam to receive Arjuna Award.

Amy Sara Broadhurst is an Irish amateur boxer. She is the 2022 IBA World Light-welterweight champion, and won the gold medal in the lightweight division at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Tammara Thibeault is a Canadian boxer competing in the Middleweight category. Thibeault won the 2022 World Championship in Istanbul after earlier winning the middleweight bronze in 2019. She is the reigning Commonwealth Games champion when she won gold in Birmingham in 2022, improving on her bronze medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Thibeault is also the current Pan American Games champion when she won gold at the 2023 Pan Am Games, again improving on her bronze from the 2019 Pan American Games.

Roumaysa Boualam is an Algerian amateur boxer. She won the gold medal in the women's minimumweight event at the 2022 Mediterranean Games held in Oran, Algeria. She is also a two-time gold medalist at the African Games. She competed at several editions of the IBA Women's World Boxing Championships.

Rady Adosinda Gramane is a Mozambican boxer. She represented Mozambique at the 2018 Commonwealth Games held in Gold Coast, Australia. In the same year, she also competed in the women's middleweight event at the 2018 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships held in New Delhi, India.

Alua Balkibekova is a Kazakhstani boxer. She participated at the 2014 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships, being awarded the bronze medal in the women's flyweight event. In the same year, Balkibekova participated at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in the boxing competition, winning no medal. She also participated at the 2019 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships in the light flyweight event, winning no medal. Balkibekova then participated at the 2022 IBA Women's World Boxing Championships, being awarded the silver medal in the minimumweight event. In the final match, she was defeated by Ayşe Çağırır.

Fatiha Mansouri is an Algerian boxer competing in the minimumweight division. She won the gold medal in the women's 48 kg event at the 2023 African Games held in Accra, Ghana. She also won the gold medal in her event at the 2023 Arab Games held in Algiers, Algeria.

Widad Bertal is a Moroccan boxer competing in the bantamweight division. She won the gold medal in the women's 54 kg event at the 2023 African Games held in Accra, Ghana. She also won the gold medal in her event at the 2023 Arab Games held in Algiers, Algeria.

Svetlana Kamenova Staneva is a Bulgarian boxer competing in the featherweight division. She won the silver medal in the women's featherweight event at the 2023 European Games held in Poland. She won the gold medal in her event at the 2024 European Amateur Boxing Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. Staneva represented Bulgaria at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
