Girls Like Girls is an upcoming film directed by Hayley Kiyoko, adapted from her 2023 book, titled after her 2015 song.
On May 30, 2023, Kiyoko released her first novel, Girls Like Girls, an adaptation of her 2015 single "Girls Like Girls"; she also co-directed the music video with Austin S. Winchell. [1] In May 2022, she discussed a desire to turn the story of the song into a feature length film. [2] The film adaptation is written by Kiyoko and Stefania Scott. It is produced by Focus Features. Hayley Catherine Rose Vivien Mills is an English actress. The coming-of-age drama is an adaptation of Ali Novak's 2014 novel of the same name, which was first published on Wattpad. The series follows recently orphaned Jackie Howard, a teenage girl from Manhattan who relocates to rural Colorado after she is taken in by the Walters, a family of seven sons and one daughter. The series was developed by Melanie Halsall. It stars Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde, Ashby Gentry and Alisha Newton. In December 2023, the series was renewed for a second season.
