Gladiator Academy (Spanish : Academia de Gladiadores) is a children's animated television series created by Claudio Biern Boyd, who also created The World of David the Gnome . The series was targeted to children aged 6 to 10 [1] and premiered on Telecinco in 2002. It was a co-production between Telecinco and Boyd's company BRB Internacional. [2]

Contents

The show was made available on Mediaset Spain's MiteleKids website in 2013. [3] In North America, Gladiator Academy was added to the Toon Goggles on-demand service for children. [4] Internationally, the series was picked up by MVS Comunicaciones in Latin America, Mediatrade in Italy, NOGA in Israel, and Turkish Media Corporation in Turkey. [5]

Plot

A group of four young gladiators live on the Mediterranean island of Cornucopia during the height of the Roman Empire. They work in the island's Colosseum and protect the island from various villains.

Got Talent España, is the Spanish version of the international Got Talent series. It is hosted by Santi Millán and broadcast on Spanish Telecinco channel. The idea behind the programme is to search for the most talented and promising entertainment. The series premiered on 13 February 2016. The new show is a continuation of an original series Tienes Talento that had seen one season starting 25 January 2008 on Cuatro, hosted by Nuria Roca and Eduardo Aldán and was discontinued after one season. Filly Funtasia is an animated fantasy television series created by Jacob and Henrik Andersen for Dracco. The series follows filly Rose and her friends as they attend a magical academy in the royal kingdom of Funtasia. It is based on the Filly toy franchise. The series was originally produced by Dracco Brands, BRB Internacional, Screen 21, and Black Dragon Entertainment, but the latter three companies dropped out of producing the series around 2016, and the former dropped out in 2019. Guangzhou Huamai Animation Studios, B-Water Animation Studios, and Zhaolong Culture joined production much later and managed to complete what the other studios left behind.

Claudio Biern Boyd was a Spanish television writer, director, producer and founder of the Spanish animation studio BRB Internacional. He created the television shows The World of David the Gnome and Gladiator Academy, among other projects.

Ruy, the Little Cid is an animated adventure series produced by Spanish studio BRB Internacional and Televisión Española with animation by Japanese studio Nippon Animation. The series is based upon the life of El Cid, an 11th-century Spanish hero and was the first original project from Claudio Biern Boyd.
