Gladys Daniell (8 November 1884 – 26 July 1962) was a British fencer. She competed at the 1924 and 1928 Summer Olympics. [2]
Daniell was a member of the Ladies' London Fencing Club and a member of Queen Alexandra's House Gymnasium in London. [3]
In 1911, Daniell won the Amateur Fencing Association's Ladies' Fencing Championship. [4] In 1912, Daniell won the third International Championship of the Stockholm Ladies' Fencing Club. [3] The same year, she competed again at the Ladies' Fencing Championship, defending her title after a tie with A. B. Walker and C. A. Walker. [4] She was awarded a gold and platinum brooch as her prize. [4]
Daniell entered the Ladies' Fencing Championship again in 1921, gaining her third title in the competition. [5] She competed in the championship again in 1923. [5]
Daniell was a left-handed fencer. [4]
Edoardo Mangiarotti was an Italian fencer. He won a total of 39 Olympic titles and World championships, more than any other fencer in the history of the sport. His Olympic medals include one individual gold, five team golds, five silver, and two bronze medals from 1936 to 1960.

Anja Fichtel-Mauritz is a retired German foil fencer. At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, she won in the individual and team competitions, and she won the individual competition of the World Championship in 1986 and 1990. She was winner of the World Championships in 1985, 1989, 1993 as a member of the national German team and second in team competition at the 1992 Summer Olympics. From 1986 until 1996 Fichtel held the title of German champion.
Gillian Mary Donaldson was a British fencer and Olympic champion in foil competition. She won a gold medal in the women's individual foil event at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne. She also competed at the 1952 and 1960 Summer Olympics.

Valentyna Ksenofontivna Rastvorova was a Ukrainian who was a Soviet fencer who competed in the 1956, 1960, and 1964 Olympics in the individual foil and team foil events. She won an individual silver medal and team gold medal in 1960, and a team silver medal in 1964. She also won six gold and two silver medals at the world championships of 1956–67.
Alice Barringer Walker was a British fencer. She was a two-time British champion, and competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics. Walker was also the vice-president of the Ladies' Amateur Fencing Association.

John Emrys Lloyd OBE was a British fencer. He competed at four Olympic Games, as well as being an official at four Olympics, and the flag bearer for Great Britain at the 1948 Summer Olympics. He was later appointed an OBE.
John Erle Fethers was an Australian fencer. He competed in six events at the 1952 Summer Olympics. He was a longstanding member and coach at the Melbourne-based VRI Fencing Club. On 10 October 2009 in recognition of a significant international fencing career, outstanding personal contribution to Australian fencing, and lasting legacy in the training and development of numerous coaches and Olympic athletes, he was inducted as a Living Legend to the VRI Hall of Fame.

Evelyn Florence Terhune was an American fencer and fencing coach who competed in the women's individual and team foil events at the 1960 Summer Olympics and was the long-time head coach of the women's fencing team at Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU).
Yelena Borisovna Grishina is a former Soviet fencer. She competed in the women's team foil events at the 1988 and 1992 Summer Olympics. In the 1989 World Fencing Championships and the 1990 World Fencing Championships she won silver medals in foil team competing for the Soviet Union, and in 1995 she won a bronze medal in the European Championships in foil.
The men's foil was one of ten fencing events on the fencing at the 2000 Summer Olympics programme. It was the twenty-third appearance of the event. The competition was held on 20 September 2000. 40 fencers from 22 nations competed. Nations had been limited to three fencers each since 1928. The event was won by Kim Yeong-Ho of South Korea, the first Asian man to win an Olympic fencing title. Ralf Bißdorf of Germany took silver, the first medal for united Germany since 1928. Dmitry Shevchenko's bronze medal was Russia's first as an independent nation in the event.
Nzingha Prescod is an American foil fencer, World Champion in foil at the 2008 and 2009 Cadet World Cups, bronze medalist at the 2015 World Fencing Championships, three-time medalist at the Pan American Games, and two-time Olympian. She has ranked as high as world # 5. Prescod was selected as an athlete director on the USA Fencing Board of Directors beginning in January 2021.
Noam Mills is an Israeli fencer, who competed in the individual women's épée event for Israel at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She is a three-time junior Israeli champion in épée, and a four-time senior Israeli champion.
Amita Marie Nicolette Berthier OLY is a Singaporean, left-handed foil fencer. She attended the University of Notre Dame from 2018 to 2023, clinching 4 individual NCAA Fencing Championships medals. Representing Singapore, Berthier has won 3 SEA Games gold medals and qualified for 2 Olympic Games.
Karin Miyawaki is a Japanese fencer. She has won medals at several editions of the Asian Fencing Championships and, in 2014, she won one of the bronze medals in the women's team foil event at the 2014 Asian Games held in Incheon, South Korea.
