Good Throb was a feminist punk band from London.
Good Throb was active between 2010 and 2016. They consisted of KY Ellie (Ellie Roberts) on vocals, BB Thing (Bryony Beynon) on guitar, Ash Tray (Ashleigh Holland) on bass and L-Hard (Louis Harding) on drums. The band formed after having all met through the London punk scene. [1]
They started with the intention of everyone taking part doing something new to them, whether that was playing an instrument or being the vocalist. [1] [2] Beynon and Harding had previously played together in a band called The Sceptres where Beynon was vocalist and Harding was on bass. Holland later sang in the band Frau. [3]
They released three 7-inch EPs and one full-length LP. Music journalist Jenn Pelly described them as "raw, primal, ferocious, pissed, crude" and "a manic London post-punk band that hinges between razorsharp cleverness and total disintegration". [4]
Guitarist Bryony Beynon was one of several guest vocalists to contribute to Raise Your Voice Joyce: Contemporary Shouts From Contemporary Voices, a compilation of music covertly recorded by the Canadian band Fucked Up in 2018. [5] [6]

Hagar the Womb are an English punk rock band, originally active in the early 1980s and part of the anarcho-punk movement. In hiatus from 1987, members went on to form We Are Going To Eat You and Melt, with vocalist Julie Sorrell. A 2011 compilation of their back catalogue brought members back into contact with each other, and invitations to reform and play gigs and festivals led to Hagar The Womb gigging again from 2012. The band released a new EP in 2016.

Swearin' is a Philadelphia-based musical group made up of singer/guitarist Allison Crutchfield, singer/guitarist Kyle Gilbride, bassist Keith Spencer and drummer Jeff Bolt. They released two albums and an EP. The band split in 2015 and Crutchfield embarked on a solo career. In November 2017, Swearin' announced that they had reunited and would go on tour in support of Superchunk in 2018.
Fresh is a British pop punk band formed in London in 2015 by Kathryn Woods (vocals/guitar), with George Phillips (bass) and Daniel Goldberg (drums) joining in 2016. The current lineup is completed by Joely Smith (guitar), who joined in 2023. They have released three albums and four EPs.

Static Shock Records is an English independent record label, gig promoter, and distributor specialising in underground punk founded in London in 2008. Since 2012 the label has organised a 'Static Shock Weekend' festival most years at different venues in the city.

Nekra is a hardcore punk band from London, England formed in 2016. It consists of Spooky Ruño (vocals), Kai Stone (bass), Alexandra Graves (guitar), and Paula Darias (drums). They opened the first Decolonise Fest at DIY Space for London in 2017 and have two releases out on cult label La Vida Es Un Mus. Members of the band have also played in Child's Pose, Turbo, Efialtis, and Frau.
