Graeme Murray (born 14 December 1984, in Bracebridge) is a Canadian ice sledge hockey player. He contracted a virus when he was three, which spread to his spinal cord, causing paralysis.
He made his debut for Canada's national team aged 15, and in 2002 was the team's youngest member at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Paralympic Games.
In 2014 Murray retired from competition to move back to his hometown of Gravenhurst, Ontario. Since then he has been actively engaged in the community and won a seat on the town council during the Ontario Municipal Elections in October 2018.
Sledge hockey, also known as Sled hockey in American English, and Para ice hockey in international competition, is an adaptation of ice hockey for players who have a physical disability. The sport was invented in the early 1960s at a rehabilitation centre in Stockholm, Sweden, and played under similar rules to standard ice hockey. Players are seated on sleds and use special hockey sticks with metal "teeth" on the tips of their handles to navigate the ice. Playing venues use an ice hockey rink.
The 2000 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships was the second IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships held between March 20, 2000 and March 25, 2000 at the E Center in West Valley City, Utah, United States.The same place where would host the same sport two years later as the first test event for the Paralympic Winter Games in 2002. Participating countries: Canada, Estonia, Japan, Norway, Sweden and United States.
Canada was the host country of the 2010 Winter Paralympics, in Vancouver, the first time it had hosted the Winter Paralympics.
Joshua Pauls is an ice sled hockey player from USA and Member of the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team. He took part in the 2010 Winter Paralympics in Vancouver, where USA won gold. They beat Japan 2–0 in the final.
Benoît St-Amand is a Canadian ice sledge hockey player. He had a bone cancer in his right leg when he was 15 (1993), and his leg was amputated above the knee in 1995.

Corbin Watson is a Canadian Paralympic ice sledge hockey goalkeeper whose team won 3–0 against Norway and received bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Paralympics. Previously, he participated at the 2013 IPC World Sledge Hockey Championships where he and his team won gold medals. An amputee, he lost his lower right leg following a car crash in 2006. Following the accident he joined Canadian sledge hockey team called Windsor Ice Bullets 2 years later in Windsor, Ontario where he was inspired by Ray Grassi, his teammate. In 2009 he won a gold medal at the Défi sportif tournament.

Lee was a member of South Korea's bronze medal winning team in para ice hockey at the 2018 Winter Paralympics.
Jung Seung-hwan is a South Korean ice sledge hockey player. He played in the 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022 Paralympic Winter Games. He won a silver medal at the 2012 IPC Ice Sledge Hockey World Championships. Jung was a member of South Korea's bronze medal winning team in para ice hockey at the 2018 Winter Paralympics.
The Para Hockey Cup, formerly the World Sledge Hockey Challenge (WSHC) and Canadian Tire Para Ice Hockey Cup is an annual international ice sledge hockey tournament sponsored by Hockey Canada and the IPC Sledge Hockey. The tournament is an invitational format to bring four of the strongest ice sledge hockey teams together for international competition.
