Grandes Éxitos is the first greatest hits album by Colombian singer and songwriter Shakira. It was released on 2 November 2002, by Sony Music Colombia, one year after her fifth studio album and English-language debut Laundry Service. It is composed of Spanish-language recordings from her third, fourth and fifth studio efforts Pies Descalzos (1995), Dónde Están los Ladrones? (1998) and Laundry Service (2001), along with the live album MTV Unplugged (2000). The album only featured Spanish-language tracks and featured no new recordings. It also did not include songs from her first two studio albums, Magia and Peligro.
Greatest Hits is a compilation album by Mexican pop star Thalía. Released on February 10, 2004, the album features 14 singles from her five previous albums of original material for EMI Latin, plus two previously unreleased songs "Acción y Reacción" & "Cuando Tu Me Tocas". All of the songs appear in Spanish, including those originally released in English. In April and May 2004, Thalía toured the United States and Mexico on her High Voltage Tour. This marked the first time Thalía toured the US.

"Me Enamora" is a song written and performed by Colombian singer and songwriter, Juanes. The song is the first radio single of his fourth solo studio album La Vida... Es Un Ratico (2007) and it received three awards for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Short Form Music Video at the Latin Grammy Awards of 2008. The song was included in the game Rock Band 3. In 2012, Juanes re-released the single with a new version, that was performed on his album MTV Unplugged. 15 Años De Éxitos is the first greatest hits album from Mexican singer Alejandro Fernández this album contains 15 successful tracks from 8 of his previous albums in addition to the newly recorded track "El Lado Oscuro Del Amor" from the Mexican film "El Búfalo De La Noche". The song was produced by Bebu Silvetti and was composed for the Mexican telenovela of the same name (2000). It was released as the lead single on June 2000 for the compilation album El Alma de Divo (2000) and later included on his 25th studio also titled Abrázame Muy Fuerte (2000). A romantic ballad with Latin and pop sounds and backed by an orchestra, it is a confession of love. Gabriel was inspired to write the song due to his sister's coma.

It is a tribute album to Mexican singer José José, Castro's musical idol. The album was produced by Rafael Pérez-Botija who also produced for José José. Viva el Príncipe covers twelve songs by José José and includes a poem recited by Castro's idol. Recording took place on August 2010 at The Hit Factory Criteria in Miami, Florida.
