Grant Freckelton is a visual effects artist, art director and production designer who is most known for his work on Moulin Rouge! (2001), 300 (2006) and The Matrix Reloaded (2003). He also worked as the art director on Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole and production designer on The Lego Movie and The Lego Batman Movie . [1]
Lego is a line of plastic construction toys that are manufactured by the Lego Group, a privately held company based in Billund, Denmark. Lego consists of variously colored interlocking plastic bricks made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene that accompany an array of gears, figurines called minifigures, and various other parts. Lego pieces can be assembled and connected in many ways to construct objects, including vehicles, buildings, and working robots. Anything constructed can be taken apart again, and the pieces reused to make new things.
A brickfilm is a film or Internet video made by either shooting stop motion animation using construction set bricks like Lego bricks or using computer-generated imagery or traditional animation to imitate the look. They can sometimes also be live action films featuring plastic construction toys. Since the 2000s The Lego Group has released various films and TV series and brickfilms have also become popular on (social-) media websites. The term “brick film” was coined by Jason Rowoldt, founder of the website brickfilms.com.
In film and television, the production designer is the individual responsible for the overall aesthetic of the story. The production design gives the viewers a sense of the time period, the plot location, and character actions and feelings. Working directly with the director, cinematographer, and producer, production designers have a key creative role in the creation of motion pictures and television. The term production designer was coined by William Cameron Menzies while he was working on the film Gone with the Wind. Production designers are commonly confused with art directors as the roles have similar responsibilities. Production designers decide the visual concept and deal with the many and varied logistics of filmmaking including, schedules, budgets, and staffing. Art directors manage the process of making the visuals, which is done by concept artists, graphic designers, set designers, costume designers, lighting designers, etc. The production designer and the art director lead a team of individuals to assist with the visual component of the film. Depending on the size of the production the rest of the team can include set decorators, buyers, dressers, runners, graphic designers, drafts people, props makers, and set builders.

He won an Academy Award for Best Art Direction for Sayonara (1957) and was nominated for the same award for five other films: Marty (1955), Some Like It Hot (1959), Pepe (1960), The Longest Day (1962), and 'What a Way to Go! (1964).

Eve Stewart is a British production designer. She grew up in Camden Town and later trained in film, originally working in theatre. She later became a set designer, starting with Naked in 1993. The film stars Chris Pratt, Elizabeth Banks, Will Arnett, Charlie Day, Alison Brie, Nick Offerman, and Will Ferrell reprising their roles from the previous film, while new cast members include Stephanie Beatriz, Tiffany Haddish, and Maya Rudolph. In addition to Pratt reprising his role, he also voiced the new character. A collaboration between production houses from the United States, Australia, and Denmark, the film takes place five years after the events of Taco Tuesday and follows Emmet Brickowski (Pratt), Lucy (Banks) and their friends, who take into the Systar System to test their skills and creativity, while Emmet's dealing with a coming cataclysm known as "Armamageddon".

David Wasco and Sandy Reynolds-Wasco are an American husband and wife duo who are production designers and art directors. They are best known for their frequent collaborations with director Quentin Tarantino films, as production designers for Reservoir Dogs (1992), Pulp Fiction (1994), Kill Bill: Volume 1 (2003), Kill Bill: Volume 2 (2004), and Inglourious Basterds (2009). They worked as production designer and set decorator, respectively, for La La Land (2016), for which they received numerous awards and nominations, including the Art Directors Guild Award for Excellence in Production Design for a Contemporary Film and Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Art Direction, and won the Academy Award for Best Production Design at the 89th Academy Awards.
