[2] After one year, she transferred to Santa Clara University and competed in track and cross-country for the first time, as a walk-on for the Santa Clara Broncos. She spent the remainder of her collegiate career with the Utah Utes, where she became an All-American in cross-country, indoor track, and outdoor track. [3] Graduating summa cum laude, Murphy received her B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah in 2018. [4]
