Greatest Hits is a compilation album released by British hip hop group Blazin' Squad. The album was released digitally via 7digital.com on 22 June 2009. [1] The album failed to chart on the UK Albums Chart.
Following the group's split in late 2004, four of the original band members decided to continue writing and recording, and in 2006, they signed a deal with Peach Records, got in contact with their previous songwriters and released a comeback single, "All Night Long". The comeback was not successful, and "All Night Long" failed to chart. The group were subsequently dropped from the label. In 2008, after recruiting another of the original band members, the five-piece signed a deal with Naughty Boy Records and released a further comeback single, "Let's Start Again". This single performed worse than All Night Long, and the group were subsequently dropped again. Their contract with Naughty Boy licensed them to release an album - and subsequently, a greatest hits compilation, containing all of the group's singles, as well as some b-sides and remixes, was released.
Blazin' Squad were an English hip hop group. The group had six top ten hits, including "Crossroads", a cover version of the Bone Thugs-n-Harmony original. Jon O'Brien of AllMusic called them the "self-proclaimed pioneers of 'chav' culture".
Zoo Records was a British independent record label formed by Bill Drummond and David Balfe in 1978. Zoo was launched to release the work of the perennially struggling Liverpool band Big in Japan. The label also released two singles by Lori and the Chameleons, a Balfe and Drummond band which they formed after Big in Japan folded. Zoo Records went on to release early work from The Teardrop Explodes and Echo & the Bunnymen. The label also released the first single, "Iggy Pop's Jacket", by the Liverpool band Those Naughty Lumps.

In the Army Now is the seventeenth studio album by the English rock band Status Quo, released on 29 August 1986 by Vertigo Records. Recorded at Chipping Norton Recording Studios in Oxfordshire and Jacobs Studios in Surrey, it was the first album with the post-Live Aid lineup, featuring bassist Rhino Edwards and drummer Jeff Rich, both of whom joined in March 1986.
Naked and Sacred is Chynna Phillips' debut solo album, released on November 7, 1995. She was the only member of the pop group Wilson Phillips to remain on her label, EMI, after the group broke up in late 1992. The album didn't see strong sales, selling 22,000 copies in the United States according to Billboard.com, but received good reviews. Chynna co-wrote 8 of the album's 11 songs, which featured productions from Rick Nowels, Glen Ballard, and Desmond Child. According to Phillips, she was offered $1 million to record a solo album for EMI and was dropped shortly after due to the album's disappointing sales.
The Hit Squad is an American hip hop collective of East Coast hip hop artists. Originally formed in the 1990s by Erick Sermon and Parrish Smith of the rap group EPMD, the group included rap artists such as K-Solo, Redman, Das EFX, Top Quality, and Knucklehedz. When EPMD broke up for the first time in 1993, the collective separated, with Sermon forming Def Squad and Smith retaining the Hit Squad name.
"One More Night Alone" is a song by pop trio Friday Hill, released as the second and final single from their debut studio album, Times Like These, on 13 February 2006. Despite being released under the name Friday Hill, the song is included as part of Blazin' Squad's discography. Upon its release, the song reached No. 13 on the UK Singles Chart.
"Strictly Physical" is a song by German pop girl group Monrose. It was written by British musicians Tim Hawes, Pete Kirtley, Obi Mhondera, Christian Ballard, and Andrew Murray and recorded by the trio for their same-titled second studio album (2007). Production was helmed by Mhondera along with duo Hawes and Kirtley as well as duo Ballard and Murray under their production monikers Jiant and Snowflakers. A dark and spooky, synthesizer–driven contemporary R&B record, it contains lyrics that reference to a celebration of sexual lust and conquest, leading up to a desire to get physical with a love interest.

Now or Never is the second studio album released by British ten-piece hip hop group Blazin' Squad. The album was released on 20 November 2003 in the United Kingdom, and peaked at #37 on the UK Albums Chart. The album spawned the singles "We Just Be Dreamin'", "Flip Reverse" and "Here 4 One". It features the rap version of "We Just Be Dreamin'", running at 3:28, instead of the vocal version, running at 3:37. The album cover was photographed in Queenborough, on the Isle of Sheppey. Following the album's commercial failure, the band split in 2004, and Now or Never became their last record to be released as a ten-piece band.

"Diamond Rings" is the third single released from British rapper Chipmunk's debut studio album, I Am Chipmunk (2009). The song was produced by Naughty Boy and released digitally on 5 July 2009. It features uncredited vocals from Emeli Sandé, who performed the chorus of the song. Chipmunk told Rewind RWD magazine about the lyrics: "It’s not about being flash and spending money though; it’s more about maintaining your value. It’s about feeling good out there." The song samples "Miss Ska-Culation" by Roland Al and the Soul Brothers which in turn samples “Pipeline” by The Ventures.
McLean is an English singer from Dagenham, east London. He was signed to Asylum Records and then Atlantic Records. His debut single "Broken" was released on 26 October 2009. The song was produced by The Schizofreniks and first released independently on 26 March 2007 on Schizofreniks Records, and has since then accrued over 20 million hits across major social networking sites, including YouTube and MySpace.

Adele Emily Sandé,, known professionally as Emeli Sandé, is a Scottish singer and songwriter. Born in Sunderland, Tyne and Wear, and raised in Alford, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, by an English mother and a Zambian father, Sandé rose to prominence after being a featured artist on the 2009 track "Diamond Rings" by rapper Chipmunk. It was the first top 10 single on the UK Singles Chart for both of them. In 2010, she was featured on "Never Be Your Woman" by the rapper Wiley, which was another top ten hit. In 2012, she received the Brit Awards' Critics' Choice Award.
Loick Mark Essien is an English singer signed to record label Sony Music. Essien began his musical career after featuring on rapper Chipmunk's single "Beast". Essien was set to release his debut album, Identity, on 5 March 2012 but was dropped from his label weeks before the release date.
