In sports, a farm team, farm system, feeder team, feeder club, or nursery club is generally a team or club whose role is to provide experience and training for young players, with an agreement that any successful players can move on to a higher level at a given point, usually in an association with a major-level parent team. This system can be implemented in many ways, both formally and informally. It is not to be confused with a practice squad, which fulfills a similar developmental purpose but the players on the practice squad are members of the parent team.
Brian Wickens is a New Zealand professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances in the World Wrestling Federation under the ring name Bushwhacker Luke, where he teamed with Bushwhacker Butch as The Bushwhackers. He is also known for his appearances under the ring name Luke Williams for promotions such as NWA New Zealand, Stampede Wrestling, Pacific Northwest Wrestling, Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling, Southwest Championship Wrestling, and the Universal Wrestling Federation, where he teamed with Butch as "The Kiwis" and "The Sheepherders".
The Bushwhackers were a professional wrestling tag team who competed first as the New Zealand Kiwis and then as The Sheepherders during their 36-year career as a tag team. They wrestled in the World Wrestling Federation, Jim Crockett Promotions, and on the independent territorial wrestling circuits. The Bushwhackers consisted of Butch Miller and Luke Williams while the Sheepherders also included Jonathan Boyd and Rip Morgan as members at times. Williams and Miller were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2015, and the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum in 2020.

Arthur R. Baker is a former collegiate and professional American football player. He played college football at Syracuse University, where he was an All-American fullback in the backfield with Heisman Trophy winner Ernie Davis. He was also an NCAA wrestling champion at Syracuse in 1959, becoming only the second African-American to win an NCAA wrestling title. In 1959, he was the only college athlete to win division one national titles in two different sports in the same year. He played professionally in the American Football League (AFL) for the Buffalo Bills in 1961 and 1962. He then went to the Canadian Football League (CFL), where he played four seasons, mainly for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) is a governing body for high school activities in Colorado. Jonathan Barry Boyle was an Australian professional wrestler, better known by the ring name "Lord" Jonathan Boyd. Initially Boyd competed both in North American and international promotions as part of the Royal Kangaroos with his cousin Norman Frederick Charles III. Later on Boyd would team up with Luke Williams as the Sheepherders and compete in many North American federations such as the Continental Wrestling Association, Southeast Championship Wrestling, and Southwest Championship Wrestling. Boyd would also act as a manager for Luke and Butch Miller as they competed under the "Sheepherder" name.
Joseph Paul Carollo is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle for 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Cleveland Browns. He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and was selected in the second round of the 1962 NFL draft. Carollo was also selected in the eighteenth round of the 1962 AFL Draft by the Dallas Texans. He had a short career in professional wrestling from 1965 to 1967 where he worked in Texas, Hawaii, the Carolinas and Japan.
