Grosse Pointe Public Library is a public library system serving the Grosse Pointe area of Wayne County, Michigan.
The Carolyn and Ted Ewald Memorial Branch Library in Grosse Pointe Park was scheduled to open in 2004. [1] The 15,000 square feet (1,400 m2) branch was originally scheduled to open in October of that year, but delays moved the opening month to January 2005. [2]
The library owns a mobile made by Alexander Calder. In July 2015 it was appraised to be worth $10 million. [3]

Grosse Pointe North High School is a public high school in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. North is a four-year comprehensive high school with an enrollment of around 1,400 and expected 2016 graduating class of 350. Classes are in session for 182 days per year and the school day is from 8:00 AM to 3:05 PM.
Grosse Pointe South High School is a public high school of state and national historical significance serving the Detroit suburb of Grosse Pointe. Originally known as Grosse Pointe High School when it opened in 1928, the school adopted its current name in 1968 after the newly established Grosse Pointe North High School began accepting students.

Marcus R. Burrowes (1874–1953) was a notable Detroit architect. He served one year in the position of president of the Michigan Society of Architects and was a fellow of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Defer Elementary School is a school building located at 15425 Kercheval in Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan in Metro Detroit. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1996 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001. A part of the Grosse Pointe Public School System, it serves much of Grosse Pointe Park.
The Carl E. and Alice Candler Schmidt House is a private home located at 301 Lake Shore Rd. in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. Built in 1904, the house is one of the oldest remaining properties in the Grosse Pointes to have a view of Lake Saint Clair.
MorningSide is a neighborhood on the east side of Detroit, Michigan. The area is bounded by Harper Avenue and Interstate 94 on the north, Mack Avenue to the south, East Outer Drive and Whittier on the east and Alter Road and East Outer Drive to the west. The local association that shares the name MorningSide with the community is a collaboration of residents working together to take care of this area.
