Guardian Angel is the sixteenth rock album by British instrumental (and sometimes vocal) group The Shadows, released in November 1984 through Polydor Records.
Guardian Angel was the group's first album to be released on LP and CD simultaneously and only the group's second CD release. It had the distinction of being the group's only 1980s album to contain mostly original material, except for one track. The album and its single, "On A Night Like This" were not promoted strongly by Polydor and the album failed in commercial terms, spending one week at number 98 in the UK album chart. [2] Only two tracks from this album became part of The Shadows' live repertoire, during the January to March 1985 "down-under" tour in Australia and New Zealand; the two tracks being "How Do I Love Thee" and "Hammerhead".[ citation needed ]
The album was reissued on CD in December 1998 on the now defunct See for Miles Records label and added eight tracks, two of which had never been issued on CD before.

Michael Kevin Taylor is an English guitarist, best known as a former member of John Mayall's Bluesbreakers (1967–1969) and the Rolling Stones (1969–1974). As a member of the Stones, he appeared on Let It Bleed (1969), Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out! Fresh Cream is the debut studio album by the British rock band Cream, consisting of bassist Jack Bruce, guitarist Eric Clapton and drummer Ginger Baker. The album was released in the UK on 9 December 1966, as the first LP on the Reaction Records label, owned by producer Robert Stigwood. It was released in both mono and stereo versions, at the same time as the release of the single "I Feel Free". The album peaked at No. 6 on the UK Albums Chart. The album was released in a slightly different form in January 1967 by Atco Records in the US, also in mono and stereo versions.
Anthony Esmond Sheridan McGinnity, known professionally as Tony Sheridan, was an English rock and roll guitarist who spent much of his adult life in Germany. William Alan Hawkshaw was a British composer and performer, particularly of library music used as themes for movies and television programs. The Comsat Angels were an English post-punk band from Sheffield, England, initially active from 1978 to 1995. Long Tall Shorty were a mod revival band that formed in 1978 in London. They recorded several singles before splitting up in 1982, when lead singer Tony Perfect left to join Angelic Upstarts. Reforming in 2000, they have recorded and released several albums.
"Take Out Some Insurance" is a blues song released in 1959 by Jimmy Reed written by Charles Singleton and Waldenese Hall but originally credited to Jesse Stone. The copyright registration for the song lists its title as "Take Out Some Insurance on Me, Baby".. Tony Sheridan recorded it with different lyrics in 1961 with The Beatles as his backing band. Misidentified, it was released in Germany in 1964 as "If You Love Me, Baby " but subsequently as "Take Out Some Insurance on Me, Baby ", "Take Out Some Insurance on Me, Baby" or erroneously as "If You Love Me, Baby".
Brussels Affair is a live album by the Rolling Stones, released in 2011. It is compiled from two shows recorded in Brussels at the Forest National Arena on Wednesday 17 October 1973, during their European Tour. At the time, the band was unable to enter France, as guitarist Keith Richards had been temporarily banned from visiting the country after being charged with drug possession by a French court. The album was released exclusively as a digital download through Google Play Music on 18 October 2011 in the US and through the Rolling Stones Archive website for the rest of the world in both lossy MP3 and lossless FLAC format. The 2011 digital edition has been bootlegged on physical CD. On 29 August 2012, an official announcement was made, stating its physical release as a high-priced boxset. All three releases include a triple LP and double CD.

Don't Get Mad, Get Even is the fifth studio album by British hard rock/heavy metal band Samson, released in 1984. Don't Get Mad, Get Even was included in the three-disc compilation The Polydor Years, issued by Caroline International in 2017, which also includes the album Before the Storm and a third CD with various B-sides, live and studio rarities. This compilation was the only official transfer of the original record to CD. An unofficial bootleg was made and sold in New Zealand, released in 1997 on CD.
