Guardian Life Magazine (also known as The Guardian Life or Life Magazine) is a Nigerian lifestyle and entertainment magazine founded by The Guardian , and published by Guardian Newspapers Limited since 2005. The first issue of the magazine was published as a column in The Guardian newspaper weekly on Sundays, till 2013, when the magazine published its first solo issue.

History

Guardian Life Magazine was established in 2005 by the Nigerian Guardian newspaper. The magazine was published weekly as a column in the Guardian on Sundays. [1] In 2013, Tabia Princewill took over as Editor-in-chief. Under her leadership, the magazine was revamped as Life Magazine and published its first print issue. [1] In an interview with BellaNaija , Princewill said: “It is now a lifestyle magazine featuring lots of great new content such as travel, fashion, beauty, relationships, and of course great interviews”. [1]

In 2019, Njideka Agbo became Editor-in-chief till 2022. [2]

Kunle Afolayan is a Nigerian actor, producer and director. He is widely credited for elevating the quality of Nollywood movies through larger budgets, shooting on 35mm, releasing in cinemas, and improving cliché Nollywood storylines. YNaija is a Nigerian online content publishing platform, founded by Chude Jideonwo and Adebola Williams of RED Africa media group. YNaija launched in May 2010 with columnists and various news sources. <i>Gidi Up</i> Nigerian web drama series

Gidi Up is a Nigerian television and web drama series starring OC Ukeje, Deyemi Okanlawon, Somkele Iyamah, and Titilope Sonuga in lead roles. The series was created by Jadesola Osiberu and executively produced by Lola Odedina. It is produced by Ndani TV and sponsored by GTBank. Owing to unknown reasons, the show was not picked up for a third season. The show was cancelled after two seasons. Episodes are first aired online through Ndani.tv web channel, and the first episode was aired on 20 February 2013.

Adenrele Sonariwo is a Nigerian entrepreneur and art curator. Living in Bondage: Breaking Free, also known as Living in Bondage II, is a 2019 Nigerian supernatural thriller executive produced by Charles Okpaleke. A sequel to the 1992 classic Living in Bondage, the film stars Kenneth Okonkwo, Kanayo O. Kanayo, Enyinna Nwigwe, and Muna Abii, with Swanky JKA in his breakout role, and Ramsey Nouah, who makes his directorial debut, playing the main villain. It received mostly positive reviews and ranked 11th overall on the list of highest-grossing Nigerian films of all time at the end of its theatrical run. The film premiered on Netflix in May 2020.
