Guillermo Lorenzana Ragazzone (born 5 January 1956) is a former soccer player from El Salvador.

Club career

Ragazzone played for Atlético Marte in the 1985 league championship decider against Alianza, which Marte won 5–2 after extra time. [2] In 1989, he played the championship final for Cojutepeque, this time losing out to Luis Ángel Firpo. [3]

International career

Ragazzone represented El Salvador at the 1975 Pan American Games [4] and was a non-playing El Salvador squad member at the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain. He represented his country in 2 games during the 1990 FIFA World Cup qualifying rounds. [5] [6]

FESFUT

Ragazzone was head of the technical department of FESFUT, the Salvadoran Football Association, but he left FESFUT in July 2008 after disagreements with federation president Rodrigo Calvo. [7]

The Clausura 2011 season will be the 26th edition of Primera División de Fútbol de El Salvador since its establishment of an Apertura and Clausura format. Isidro Metapán will be heading into this tournament as the defending champions. The season will begin in early 2011 and conclude in mid year. Like previous years, the league will consist of 10 teams, each playing a home and away game against the other clubs for a total of 18 games, respectively. The top four teams by the end of the regular season will take part of the playoffs.

The Tercera Division de Fútbol Salvadoreño, commonly known as Tercera División, and officially known as Electrolit Tercera División for sponsorship reasons, is the men's third professional association football division of the Salvadoran football league system. Administered by Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional, it is contested by 23 teams, with the top two teams plus the winner of a play-off promoted to Segunda division and replaced by the three lowest-placed teams in that division.

The Primera División Femenina de El Salvador is the main women's football competition for in El Salvador. It was established in 2010.

The 2022–23 Primera División de El Salvador, also known as the Liga Pepsi, is the 24th season and 46th and 47th Primera División tournament, El Salvador's top football division, since its establishment of an Apertura and Clausura format. C.D. FAS and TBD are the defending champions of both Apertura and Clausura tournaments respectively. The league will consist of 12 teams. There will be two seasons conducted under identical rules, with each team playing a home and away game against the other clubs for a total of 22 games per tournament. At the end of each half-season tournament, the top six teams in that tournament's regular season standings will take part in the playoffs.
