Guldasta is a 2020 Indian Bengali-language drama film directed by Arjunn Dutta, [1] [2] starring Arpita Chatterjee, Swastika Mukherjee, Debjani Chattopadhyay and Anubhav Kanjilal. The film was released on 21 October 2020, in theaters coinciding with Puja holiday. [3]

Plot

Guldasta [4] [5] is a women-centric film, and interweaves tales of three lead female characters. Srirupa, Renu and Dolly constitute the trio whose journey of life is depicted in Guldasta. The backbone of the story stands strong with the realities of life faced by these three women who have a surprisingly unique world of make-believe emotions of their own. Be prepared to let the story touch your soul.

Reception

Guldasta received mediocre ratings from critics. [7] [8] [9] Shantanu Ray Chaudhury, reviewing Guldasta, noted that despite its shortcomings, the film manages to appeal to the audience's emotion because of the director's "feel for the minutiae of life". [8]

Rakhi Bandhan is a Bengali television soap opera that premiered on 28 November 2016 and aired on Star Jalsha. Sayanta Modak, Sraboni Bhunia, and Subhrojit Saha play the lead roles. The show was dubbed in Tamil as Minmini Pookal, airing on Vijay Super. The show revolved round the unique bonding between the young actors Krittika and Soham, who played Rakhi and Bandhan respectively. The ceremony was held on 17 March 2022 in Kolkata. Borunbabur Bondhu and Tonic shared the award for Best Film. The Award Show was aired on 24 and 30 April 2022 on Zee Bangla and Zee Bangla Cinema respectively. The show was hosted by Abir Chatterjee, Sohini Sarkar and Anirban Bhattacharya.
