Gymnastics at the 2009 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival (EYOF) was held from 21 to 24 July 2009. The competitions took place at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre in Tampere, Finland. [1]

Elena Mikhailovna Zamolodchikova is a Russian former artistic gymnast and four-time Olympic medallist. She is the 2000 Olympic champion on vault and floor exercise, and she is a two-time World champion on vault. She also competed at the 2004 Summer Olympics where she won a bronze medal with the Russian team. She is a two-time World Cup Final vault champion and a two-time European champion with the Russian team. In 2015, she was inducted in the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame.
Ksenia Dmitrievna Afanasyeva is a retired Russian artistic gymnast who competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. She is the 2011 world champion on floor exercise, the 2013 and 2015 European floor champion, and the 2013 Universiade vault and floor champion. Widely regarded as one of the most original and artistic gymnasts of all time, she retired from elite gymnastics in July 2016 due to kidney disease, a month away from the 2016 Summer Olympics, for which she was the Russian team's first alternate.
Aliya Farkhatovna Mustafina is a Russian former artistic gymnast.
Elena Amelia Racea is a Romanian artistic gymnast. She is a European champion on balance beam and a European all around and team bronze medalist.
Viktoria Aleksandrovna Komova is a former Russian artistic gymnast. She is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won silver medals in the all-around and team events at the 2012 Olympics. She is also the 2011 world uneven bars champion and all-around silver medalist, and the 2015 co-world champion on uneven bars. At the junior level, she was the 2010 Youth Olympics all-around champion, uneven bars champion, vault champion, and floor exercise bronze medalist. Komova is known for her fluidity, form and old school Soviet style.
Erika Fasana is an Italian artistic gymnast. She competed for her country at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Summer Olympics. She is the first Italian gymnast to accomplish the "Chusovitina" on floor and the second to accomplish the "Silivas"
Artur Vahrami Davtyan is an Armenian gymnast. He is a member of the Armenia national team in gymnastics. Davtyan is the 2020 Olympic bronze medalist, 2024 Olympic silver medalist and the 2022 World Champion on vault. Additionally he is the 2019 European Games vault champion and is a six-time European Championships medalist.
Angelina Romanovna Melnikova is a Russian artistic gymnast. With eleven Olympic and World medals, she is the joint third-most decorated Russian gymnast of all time. At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, she led the Russian Olympic Committee to gold in the team competition. She previously represented Russia at the 2016 Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal in the team competition. She was also a member of the gold medal-winning Russian teams at the 2016 and 2018 European Championships, and the silver medal-winning Russian teams at the 2018 and 2019 World Championships.
Rebeca Rodrigues de Andrade is a Brazilian artistic gymnast. Having won a total of six Olympic and nine World medals, she is the most decorated Brazilian and Latin American gymnast of all time, as well as the most decorated Brazilian Olympian in any discipline. In the all-around, she is the 2022 World champion, a two-time Olympic silver medalist, the 2023 World silver medalist, and the 2021 Pan American champion. On vault, she is the 2020 Olympic gold medalist, the 2024 Olympic silver medalist, a two-time World Champion, and the 2023 Pan American Games champion. In the floor exercise, she is the 2024 Olympic gold medalist, 2023 World silver medallist, and 2022 World bronze medallist. She led the Brazilian team to its first ever team medals at the 2023 World Championships (silver) and the 2024 Olympics (bronze), as well as the gold medal at the 2021 Pan American Championships.
Gymnastics at the 2015 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival took place from 28 July to 1 August in Tbilisi, Georgia in the Gymnastics Palace.
Andrei Vasile Muntean is a Romanian artistic gymnast. He represented Romania at the 2016 Summer Olympics and placed sixth on the parallel bars. He is the 2017 World University Games vault bronze medalist. He has competed at the World Championships eight times, and he will represent Romania at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Zsófia Kovács is a Hungarian artistic gymnast who competed at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games. She is the 2017 and 2023 European all-around silver medalist, the 2020 European champion on uneven bars, as well as the 2020 and 2022 European champion on vault.
Gymnastics at the 2017 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival took place from 23 July to 30 July in Győr, Hungary in the Radnóti Street Sport Centre.
Barbora Mokošová is a Slovak artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 European bronze medalist on the uneven bars and the first gymnast representing Slovakia to receive a medal at the European Championships. She represented Slovakia at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games. She is also a two-time World Challenge Cup champion on the uneven bars.
Ksenia Anatolyevna Klimenko is a retired Russian artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 Youth Olympics Uneven Bar Champion, the 2017 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival All-Around Champion and the 2018 European Junior all-around bronze medalist.
Csenge Mária Bácskay is a Hungarian artistic gymnast and the 2018 Youth Olympic silver medalist on vault. Additionally, she was a member of the team that won bronze at the 2020 European Championships. She represented Hungary at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
Nazlı Savranbaşı is a Turkish artistic gymnast. She represented Turkey at the 2020 Summer Olympics and at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics. She is the 2019 Mersin World Challenge Cup champion on the uneven bars. She is the 2020 Turkish all-around champion and the 2018 Turkish junior all-around champion.
Nazar Vyacheslavovich Chepurnyi is a Ukrainian artistic gymnast. He represented Ukraine at the 2024 Summer Olympics. He was part of the gold medal winning team at the 2024 European Championships and the silver medal winning team at the 2019 Junior World Championships. Individually on vault he is the 201 World University Games champion, 2018 Youth Olympic silver medalist, and the 2023 World and 2024 European bronze medalist. Additionally he is the 2019 Junior World champion on horizontal bar.
Lihie Raz is an Olympic artistic gymnast. Born in the United States, she represents Israel internationally. She won the bronze medal on the floor exercise at the 2020 European Championships, which was Israel's first medal at the European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships. She is also the 2019 and 2021 Israeli all-around champion. She represented Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics and finished 59th in the all-around during qualifications, but did not advance to any finals. Raz represented Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and came in 16th in the Women's vault, and 31st in the Women's All-Around qualification with a score of 51.632, just missing the final that had a cutoff of 51.698.
Aneta Holasová is a Czech artistic gymnast. She is the 2019 European Games silver medalist on the floor exercise and a three-time FIG World Cup bronze medalist. At the 2019 World Championships, she finished fifty-first in the all-around and qualified an individual spot for the 2020 Olympic Games. She represented the Czech Republic at the 2020 Summer Olympics and placed seventy-third in the all-around.
