Claudia Fragapane is a retired British artistic gymnast. She came to prominence at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, where she was the first English woman to win four gold medals in a single Games since 1930. In 2015, Fragapane was part of the women's gymnastics team that won Great Britain's first-ever team medal, a bronze, at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships, before winning an individual world championship bronze on floor two years later.

She competed at the 2020 Olympic Games, making her the first woman artistic gymnast to represent Azerbaijan at the Olympic Games.

Elisa Hämmerle is an Austrian artistic gymnast. She represented Austria at the 2020 Summer Olympics and finished sixty-sixth in the all-around during the qualification round. She also represented Austria at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics and finished twelfth in the all-around final. She has won four medals on the FIG World Cup circuit, one silver and three bronze. At the 2020 European Championships, she became the first Austrian gymnast to qualify for an event final at the European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships when she finished eighth on the balance beam
Ana Filipa da Silva Martins is a Portuguese artistic gymnast who competed at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games. She won a bronze medal at the 2015 Summer Universiade on the balance beam. She is the first Portuguese gymnast to win a World Cup gold medal.
Ariana Gabriela Orrego Martínez is a Peruvian former artistic gymnast. She represented Peru at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games. She was the first ever Peruvian gymnast to compete at the Olympic Games. She is a six-time gold medalist at the South American Championships.
Barbora Mokošová is a Slovak artistic gymnast. She is the 2020 European bronze medalist on the uneven bars and the first gymnast representing Slovakia to receive a medal at the European Championships. She represented Slovakia at the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games. She is also a two-time World Challenge Cup champion on the uneven bars.
The women's artistic individual all-around event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo was held at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre on 29 July 2021. Approximately 80 gymnasts from 49 nations competed in the all-around in the qualifying round.

Pranati Nayak is an Indian artistic gymnast. She is the 2019 Asian Championships vault bronze medalist. She is the third Indian gymnast to win an international medal on the vault, after Dipa Karmakar and Aruna Reddy. She represented India at the 2020 Summer Olympics and is only the second Indian female gymnast to qualify for the Olympic Games. She is also the 2019 Indian all-around champion. She represented India at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and at the 2014 and 2018 Asian Games. She also competed at the 2014, 2017, and 2019 World Championships.
The 34th European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships was held from 11–14 August 2022 in Munich, Germany as part of the second multi-sport European Championships. There were 37 nations who sent athletes. Athletes from Russia and Belarus were banned due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
