Qualification took place on 10 October. Tang Xijing from China qualified in first, followed by Ukraine's Anastasiia Bachynska and Ksenia Klimenko of Russia. [1]

Gymnastics at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics was held from 7 to 16 October at the America Pavilion in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The women's balance beam event at the 2020 Summer Olympics was held on 25 July and 3 August 2021 at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre. Approximately 90 gymnasts from 53 nations are expected to compete on the balance beam in the qualifying round.
Giorgia Villa is an Italian artistic gymnast. She was a member of the historic team that won bronze at the 2019 World Championships in Stuttgart, and was part of the gold-winning team at both the 2022 Mediterranean Games and the 2022 European Championships. Individually, she is the 2018, 2020, and 2021 Italian national champion, the 2018 Youth Olympic champion, and the 2018 European junior all-around and beam champion. She is also a member of the Italian national team.
Ksenia Anatolyevna Klimenko is a retired Russian artistic gymnast. She is the 2018 Youth Olympics Uneven Bar Champion, the 2017 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival All-Around Champion and the 2018 European Junior all-around bronze medalist.

At the 2018 Junior European Championships she won five medals —the most medals won by a British junior female gymnast at the European Championships.

She was also a member of the gold medal-winning team at the 2020 European Championships. Daughter of Yurii Bachynskyi.

Tang Xijing is a Chinese artistic gymnast. She is the 2019 World all-around silver medalist, matching Jiang Yuyuan at the 2010 World Championships for the highest all-around finish for a Chinese woman in World or Olympic history. She is also the 2020 Olympic silver medalist on balance beam and the 2022 Chinese national all-around champion. At the junior level she is the 2018 Youth Olympic balance beam champion and uneven bars bronze medalist. She unofficially announced her retirement on March 20, 2024, on her alternate Weibo account.

Aneta Holasová is a Czech artistic gymnast. She is the 2019 European Games silver medalist on the floor exercise and a three-time FIG World Cup bronze medalist. At the 2019 World Championships, she finished fifty-first in the all-around and qualified an individual spot for the 2020 Olympic Games. She represented the Czech Republic at the 2020 Summer Olympics and placed seventy-third in the all-around.

Carolann Héduit is a retired French artistic gymnast and a member of the French national gymnastics team. She is the 2018 European junior uneven bars bronze medalist and the 2022 European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships beam bronze medalist. She is the 2021 and 2022 French all-around champion and represented France at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Héduit retired on June 2nd 2024.

She represented China at the 2020 Summer Olympics and finished fourth in the uneven bars final.
Abigail Magistrati is an Argentine former artistic gymnast. She represented Argentina at the 2020 Summer Olympics after Martina Dominici, the original qualifier, tested positive for a banned substance. She is the 2021 Pan American team and floor exercise bronze medalist. She is the 2019 South American all-around and team champion and the 2022 South American balance beam champion. She is the 2022 Argentine all-around, balance beam, and floor exercise champion.
