Gärtringen is a municipality in the district of Böblingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated 25 km southwest of Stuttgart and consists of the villages Rohrau and Gärtringen.

Böblingen is a Landkreis (district) in the middle of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Neighboring districts are Calw, Enz, Ludwigsburg, (district) Stuttgart, and the districts Esslingen and Tübingen.

Qianhong Gotsch, born He Qianhong, is a former female table tennis player from Germany. She won two medals in singles, and team events at the Table Tennis European Championships in 2000. She also won several tournaments of the ITTF Pro Tour.
