The HTC Radar (also known as HTC Radar 4G [2] ) is a smartphone running the Windows Phone OS. The phone was designed and manufactured by HTC Corporation. It was announced 1 September 2011, and launched on 12 October 2011.[ citation needed ]

Description

HTC announced the HTC Radar on 1 September 2011 in London, along with the higher end HTC Titan. The devices were HTC's first smartphones to ship natively with Windows Phone Mango (7.5). [3]

Launch

Microsoft launched HTC Radar, powered by Windows Phone 7.5 Operating system (Codenamed Mango), on 12 October 2011 in India. HTC Radar is the first Mango powered Smart phone in India. [4]

Reception

Ross Miller of The Verge in his review wrote: "Finally, for the platform agnostic — for those who aren’t committed to purchasing Windows Phone hardware — I’m still not quite sure I can recommend this over an Android phone of similar value." [5]

MixRadio was an online music streaming service owned by Line Corporation. The HTC HD2, is a smartphone in the HTC Touch family designed and manufactured by HTC. The HD2 natively runs the Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system, and was released in Europe in November 2009, in Hong Kong in December 2009, and in other regions including North America in March 2010. The phone is the successor to the HTC Touch HD, and is succeeded by the HTC HD7.

HTC Desire Z smartphone model

The HTC Titan, is a smartphone running the Windows Phone OS 7.5 operating system. The phone was designed and manufactured by HTC Corporation. It is the successor to the HTC HD7.

The HTC Titan II, is a smartphone designed and manufactured by HTC Corporation running the Windows Phone OS 7.5. It is the successor to the HTC Titan. The HTC Titan II was the first Windows Phone device with support for LTE connectivity, it is sold exclusively by AT&T carrier in the United States.

The Nokia Lumia 900 is a Windows Phone-powered smartphone, first unveiled on January 9, 2012 by Nokia at Consumer Electronics Show 2012, where it won the Best Smartphone award in January 2012. The HTC Desire X is a smartphone designed and developed by HTC. The Desire X is a mid-range handset incorporating a dual-core 1 GHz Snapdragon S4 play processor and 4 GB of internal storage expandable with a microSD slot. Microsoft Mobile was a subsidiary of Microsoft involved in the development and manufacturing of mobile phones. Based in Espoo, Finland, it was established in 2014 following the acquisition of Nokia's Devices and Services division by Microsoft in a deal valued at €5.4 billion, which was completed in April 2014. Nokia's then-CEO, Stephen Elop, joined Microsoft as president of its Devices division following the acquisition, and the acquisition was part of Steve Ballmer's strategy to turn Microsoft into a "devices and services" company. Windows 10 Mobile Mobile operating system developed by Microsoft

Windows 10 Mobile is a discontinued mobile operating system developed by Microsoft. First released in 2015, it is a successor to Windows Phone 8.1, but was marketed by Microsoft as being an edition of its PC operating system Windows 10.

HMD Global company that develops mobile devices under the "Nokia" brand name. A company created by Nokia for developing and releasing Nokia Smartphones.

HMD Global Oy, branded as HMD, is a Finnish mobile phone company, made up of the mobile phone business that Nokia had sold to Microsoft in 2014, then bought back in 2016. HMD Oy began marketing smartphones and feature phones under the Nokia brand on 1 December 2016. The company has exclusive rights to the Nokia brand for mobile phones through a licensing agreement. The company was created by inheriting Microsoft Mobile's feature phone business, which was sold to Microsoft by Nokia in 2014. HMD is in a 'close partnership' with Google, and uses the Android operating system under the Android One programme on their smartphones, whereas HMD's feature phones use the Series 30+ platform, or most recently, the Firefox OS-derived KaiOS. The HMD brand is only used for corporate purposes and does not appear in advertising, whereas the name Nokia Mobile is used on social media.
