List of Windows Phone 7 devices

This page seeks to list and compare hardware devices that are shipped with Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating system. HTC Corporation, Samsung, LG, Dell, Fujitsu, Nokia, Acer, Alcatel and ZTE have all released Windows Phone-based devices.

Throughout its lifespan, Windows Phone 7 was shipped on 28 unique devices. This list contains devices that have been confirmed and officially announced by their manufacturers.

Released

Windows Phone 7.0

First generation devices come with Windows Phone 7 preinstalled and can be updated to Windows Phone 7.5 and 7.8 OS. All devices in this list feature a 1 GHz Scorpion single-core processor, 512 MB of RAM, a 480 x 800 WVGA resolution screen, a back camera of 5 megapixels and a built-in digital compass. The chipset used is the Snapdragon S1 QSD8250 on non-LG devices and the Snapdragon S1 QSD8650 on LG devices. There are two exceptions, however; the Dell Venue Pro does not feature a compass, while the HTC 7 Mozart includes an 8 MP back camera instead of 5 MP.

Windows Phone 7.5

Second generation Windows Phone comes pre-installed with the Windows Phone 7.5 "Mango" version of Windows Phone or later. All devices in this list feature a single-core processor, a 480 x 800 WVGA resolution screen, and (except for the HTC Radar) a built-in digital compass. Due to the change of requirements, some second generation devices have lower-speed processors or less than 512 MB of RAM.

Windows Phone 7.8

Third generation Windows Phone 7.8 update was announced by Microsoft as an alternative to Windows Phone 8. Existing 7.5 devices cannot be updated to WP8. Only two Windows Phone 7.8 device was announced.

The C900 also supports the Windows Phone 7.8 update which launched which offers the new Windows Phone 8.0 style tiles and other improvements. It is possible to upgrade it using an alternate method.

Nokia Lumia 610 is a Windows Phone smartphone announced at Mobile World Congress 2012. It is designed for young consumers that are buying their first smartphone. The Lumia 610 has a curvy, metallic design. Like the Lumia 710, it comes in cyan, magenta, black and white. The black and magenta version have a rubberized back instead of the glossy back as found in the white and cyan version of this phone.

The Nokia Lumia 810 is a Windows Phone smartphone made by Nokia exclusively for wireless carrier T-Mobile US. It was announced on October 8, 2012. The device runs the then-new Windows Phone 8 operating system and features a 4.3-inch AMOLED WVGA ClearBlack display, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor, exchangeable shells and supports Qi inductive charging when equipped with a specific shell. It supports T-Mobile's 4G network.

Nokia Lumia 510 is a budget Windows Phone 7 smartphone developed by Nokia designed specifically for developing markets, such as China, India, Asia-Pacific and Latin America, running the Windows Phone 7.5 operating system. Unveiled on 23 September 2012, it was released in November of the same year.

The Nokia Lumia 822 is a smartphone running Windows Phone 8 announced on 29 October 2012. It is exclusively available for Verizon customers. The device is a variant of Nokia Lumia 820. The Lumia 822 supports Qi standard induction charging and LTE connectivity.

The Nokia Lumia 620 is an entry-level smartphone designed, developed and marketed by Nokia. It is the successor to the Lumia 610, and is one of the first Nokia phones to implement Windows Phone 8 alongside the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820. Although sharing a similar name with the Lumia 610, the Lumia 620 is a major overhaul over its predecessor, employing a 1.0 GHz dual-core processor. It also has exchangeable back covers which come in black, white, magenta, yellow, cyan etc.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 was a flagship Windows Phone phablet smartphone designed and produced by Finnish telecommunications manufacturer Nokia in partnership with American software manufacturer Microsoft. The device was first announced at the Nokia World event on 22 October 2013 in Abu Dhabi, alongside its mid-range phablet stablemate the Nokia Lumia 1320 and Nokia's 10.1 inch Windows RT tablet the Nokia Lumia 2520. Until its discontinuation in the United States on 7 April 2015 the phone served as the flagship device for Nokia's Lumia Series and Microsoft's mobile effort. On 6 October 2015 Microsoft officially announced its flagship phablet successor, the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, with availability sometime in November 2015.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Nokia Lumia 505</span>

The Nokia Lumia 505 is a budget smartphone developed by Nokia that runs Microsoft's Windows Phone 7.8 operating system. It was announced in December 2012 as a Telcel-exclusive device and became available in early January 2013 in Mexico. In late January 2013 the Lumia 505 became available in Colombia, Chile and Peru on Claro Americas. It was exclusive to the Latin American market and was not announced or released for any other markets.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Windows 10 Mobile</span> Mobile operating system developed by Microsoft

Windows 10 Mobile is a discontinued mobile operating system developed by Microsoft. First released in 2015, it is a successor to Windows Phone 8.1, but was marketed by Microsoft as being an edition of its PC operating system Windows 10.
