Haley Hayden (born June 19, 1995) is an American, former collegiate right-handed hitting softball player originally from West Monroe, Louisiana. She attended West Monroe High School [1] and she later attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette playing as a first baseman and outfielder, [2] while playing for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns softball team. [3] [4] [5] [6] She is the Sun Belt Conference career leader in runs and led the Ragin' Cajuns to four consecutive NCAA Division I Softball Tournament appearances from 2014 to 2017, including an appearance in the Women's College World Series in 2014, where they lost to Oklahoma, 3–1. New Orleans Bowl

The New Orleans Bowl is an NCAA-sanctioned post-season college football bowl game that has been played annually since 2001. It is normally held at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans; when the Superdome and the rest of the city suffered damage due to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the game was temporarily moved to Cajun Field in Lafayette, Louisiana, and given the name New Orleans Bowl at Lafayette. Since 2006, the bowl has been sponsored by R+L Carriers and officially known as the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns baseball team is the college baseball team of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. The Ragin' Cajuns baseball team competes in NCAA Division I in the Sun Belt Conference. They play their home games on campus at M. L. Tigue Moore Field at Russo Park and were coached by head coach Tony Robichaux, until his death on July 3, 2019. Matt Deggs was named the new head coach on July 17, 2019 and 2020 will mark his first season.

The Ragin' Cajans were led by ninth-year head coach Rickey Bustle and played their home games at Cajun Field. The schedule featured a nationally-televised game from Cajun Field against Oklahoma State on October 8. In five home games the average attendance at Cajun Field was 17,383, with a season-high of 25,000 attending the Oklahoma State game.

The Ragin' Cajuns played their home games at Cajun Field in Lafayette, Louisiana, and competed in the Sun Belt Conference. They were led by seventh-year head coach Mark Hudspeth. They finished the season 5–7, 4–4 in Sun Belt play to finish in a three-way tie for fifth place.

They finished the season 7–7, 5–3 in Sun Belt play to finish in a tie for the West Division championship with Arkansas State. Previously, Glasco had been a high school softball coach, an assistant at Georgia and Texas A&M, and National Pro Fastpitch head coach with the USSSA Pride and Scrap Yard Dawgs.

The 2019 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football team represented the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the 2019 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Ragin' Cajuns played their home games at Cajun Field in Lafayette, Louisiana, and competed in the West Division of the Sun Belt Conference. They were led by second-year head coach Billy Napier. The Cajuns made it to the Sun Belt Conference Championship Game for the second consecutive year by winning the West Division, ultimately losing to Appalachian State by the score of 45–38. The Cajuns then defeated Miami (OH) in the LendingTree Bowl, to end the season with an overall record of 11–3. Following the season, head coach Billy Napier's contract was extended by two years, going into the 2025 season.

2012 Louisiana–Lafayette Ragin Cajuns softball team

The 2012 Louisiana–Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns softball team represented the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the 2012 NCAA Division I softball season. The Ragin' Cajuns played their home games at Lamson Park and were led by twelfth and thirteen year husband and wife head coach due Michael and Stefni Lotief, respectively. This would also be the final season that the Cajuns would have two head coaches as after the season, Stefni Lotief decided to resign to focus on family and personal matters.

The 2017 Louisiana–Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns softball team represented the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the 2017 NCAA Division I softball season. The Ragin' Cajuns play their home games at Lamson Park. This would also be the last season that a Lotief would be the head coach of the Ragin' Cajuns. This came after the university fired Lotief, both Malveauxs, Director of Operations Kelsey Vincent, and one manager, Sara Corbello on November 1, 2017 due to allegations of physically and verbal abuse to his players and for laying a finger on the university's strength coach. The Ragin' Cajuns softball players strongly disagreed with his firing. Several even transferred schools with most making a pack that "if they couldn't play with Lotief, they wouldn't play at all." However, most of the team remained and competed in 2018. Nearly a year later, Lotief filed a lawsuit against the university claiming that they fired him over retaliation from Lotief claiming that the university violated NCAA Title IX laws which state that women's sports must be treated the same as their male counterpart. In the lawsuit, Lotief called University President Joseph E. Savoie, Athletic Director Bryan Maggard, and Assistant Athletic Director Dr. Jessica Leger as the defendants.

The 2010 Louisiana–Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns softball team represented the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the 2010 NCAA Division I softball season. The Ragin' Cajuns played their home games at Lamson Park and were led by tenth and eleventh year husband and wife head coaching duo Michael and Stefni Lotief, respectively.

Yvette Girouard Field at Lamson Park is a ballpark located in Lafayette, Louisiana. Originally built in 1985, Lamson Park is the home of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette's Ragin' Cajuns softball program. When Lady Cajun's Park was built, the Softball program had no budget, no money, and no stable foundation. Now, Cajuns softball is known as a national powerhouse, year after year, and Lamson Park continues to grow.

The 2020 Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football team represented the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the 2020 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Ragin' Cajuns played their home games at Cajun Field in Lafayette, Louisiana, and competed in the West Division of the Sun Belt Conference. They were led by third-year head coach Billy Napier. The Cajuns began the season with an away matchup against a preseason top-25 Iowa State and concluded their regular season at conference and in-state rival Louisiana–Monroe.
