Hamriyah is a village in Muscat, in northeastern Oman. [1]

Mina Al Hamriya, also known as Port Al Hamriya, is a port-locality in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). Mina Al Hamriya is one of the smaller ports in Dubai; it is located in Deira, off the northeastern coast of the city. Mina Al Hamriya is bordered to the south by Al Waheda and Abu Hail and to the south and east by Al Mamzar. The Palm Deira, once complete, will form the northern periphery of Mina Al Hamriya. The route D 92 runs roughly parallel along the locality of Mina Al Hamriya.

The Emirate of Sharjah is one of the emirates of the United Arab Emirates, which covers 2,590 square kilometres (1,000 sq mi) and has a population of over 1,400,000 (2015). Al Hamriyah is the name of a coastal settlement of Sharjah on the northern perimeter of the United Arab Emirates. It is one of nine municipalities of the emirate, and is wedged between the emirates of Ajman (south) and Umm Al Qawain (north). It is notable for its lagoon popular with pleasure boaters and jet skiers as well as local fishermen who moor here, as well as storing and repairing both rope and wire mesh fishing nets.

The Al Bu Shamis or Al Shawamis is an Arab Bedouin tribe that mostly inhabit the southeastern part of the Arabian peninsula. They are located mainly in Northern Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and to a lesser extent Kuwait, Qatar, eastern Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Due to the large nature of the tribe, there are today in fact many branches that trace themselves to the Al Bu Shamis tribe.

Hamriyah Free Zone

The Hamriyah Free Zone is a free zone place in the city of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. Established by an Emiri decree in November, 1995, the Free Zone is 24 square kilometers in size and has a 14 meter deep port and 7 meter deep inner harbor. Sharjah is the only one emirate, which having ports on the Arabian Gulf's west coast and east coast with direct access to the Indian Ocean.
