Sool is an administrative region (gobol) in south eastern Somaliland. It borders Togdheer to the west, Sanaag to the north, Ethiopia to the south and Somalia to the east. Its capital city is Las Anod.

Marodi Jeh is an administrative region (gobol) in western Somaliland. It is considered to be the most populous region of the country. Marodi Jeh was created by splitting the previously existing region (gobolka) Woqooyi Galbeed in two, the other part being Sahil. In 2007 the region of Woqooyi Galbeed was renamed to Maroodi Jeex. Woqooyi Galbeed was thus much larger than Marodi Jeh.

He has previously served as the Minister of Information of Somaliland, State Minister and Deputy Minister of Ministry of Interior of Somaliland. Mohamed Yusuf Abdirahman Somali politician

Mohamed Yusuf Abdirahman also known as Murad is a Somali politician, and the longest serving Mayor of Burao, the capital and the largest city of Togdheer region of Somaliland, serving from 2012 to 2021. He belongs to the Reer Biniin, Ahmed Farah sub-division of the Habr Je'lo Isaaq. He was succeeded by Abdirisaq Ibrahim Abdi on 20 June 2021 after the 2021 Somaliland municipal elections.

The Ibran is a major clan of the wider Isaaq clan family. cimraan had three sons,Egale Ibran, Abdulla Ibran, and Esa Ibran. Its members form part of the larger Habr Habusheed confederation along with the Habr Je'lo, Sanbuur and Tol Je'lo clans. Politically however, the Ibran part of the Habr Je'lo.
