Hamse Mohamed Abdi (Somali :Xamse Maxamed Cabdi) is a Somali politician,who is currently serving as the Governor of Togdheer region of Somaliland since January 2018. [1] [2] [3]
Sool is an administrative region (gobol) in south eastern Somaliland. It borders Togdheer to the west, Sanaag to the north, Ethiopia to the south and Somalia to the east. Its capital city is Las Anod.
Togdheer is an administrative region (gobol) in central Somaliland. Togdheer is bordered by Maroodi Jeex to the west, Saaxil to the north, Sanaag to the northeast, Sool to the east and Ethiopia to the south. Its capital is Burao.
Marodi Jeh is an administrative region (gobol) in western Somaliland. It is considered to be the most populous region of the country. It is bordered by Awdal to the west, Sahil to the north, Togdheer to the east and Ethiopia to the south. Marodi Jeh was created by splitting the previously existing region (gobolka) Woqooyi Galbeed in two, the other part being Sahil. In 2007 the region of Woqooyi Galbeed was renamed to Maroodi Jeex. Woqooyi Galbeed was thus much larger than Marodi Jeh.

The Puntland–Somaliland dispute is a territorial dispute over the provinces of Sool, Sanaag and the Buuhoodle district of Togdheer region between the self-declared Republic of Somaliland and the Puntland state of Somalia.
Odweyne is a town in the northwestern Togdheer region of Somaliland. It is located between Burco and Hargeisa in the western part of Togdheer region.

Oodweyne is a district in the central Togdheer region of Somaliland. The plains of this land-mass was historically referred to as Garoodi.
Sheikh District is a district in the Sahil region of Somaliland. Its capital lies at Sheikh. The district was part of Togdheer region until 1998, when the Sheikh District was incorporated into the Sahil region.
Sahil is an administrative region (gobol) in northern Somaliland with the port city of Berbera as its capital. It was separated from Woqooyi Galbeed and became a province in 1991. In 1998, the Sheikh District of Togdheer was incorporated into Sahil region. The region has a long coastline facing the Gulf of Aden to the north. Sahil borders Awdal to the northwest, Maroodi Jeex to the southwest, Togdheer to the south and Sanaag to the east.

The head of the agency is chairman and is appointed by the President of Somaliland. The current chairman of the agency is Farhan Aden Haybe.

He has previously served as the Minister of Information of Somaliland, State Minister and Deputy Minister of Ministry of Interior of Somaliland. He is also served as the Governor of Togdheer region of Somaliland.
Mohamed Yusuf Abdirahman also known as Murad is a Somali politician, and the longest serving Mayor of Burao, the capital and the largest city of Togdheer region of Somaliland, serving from 2012 to 2021. He belongs to the Reer Biniin, Ahmed Farah sub-division of the Habr Je'lo Isaaq. He was succeeded by Abdirisaq Ibrahim Abdi on 20 June 2021 after the 2021 Somaliland municipal elections.
Abdiqani Mohamoud Jidhe is a Somali politician, who is currently serving as the Governor of Sool region of Somaliland since January 2019.
Mohammed Ahmed Alin Yusuf also known as Tiimbaro is a Somaliland politician, who is currently serving as the Governor of Awdal region since June 2020. He also served as the Governor of Sanaag region of Somaliland from January 2018 to June 2020.

On late January 2020, the religious leaders of the region accused him of insulting the religion (Islam), which is unlawful to the country's Law System, while the governor dismissed the allegations saying "I had no reason to insult the religion, since i am Muslim"
The Ibran is a major clan of the wider Isaaq clan family. cimraan had three sons,Egale Ibran, Abdulla Ibran, and Esa Ibran. Its members form part of the larger Habr Habusheed confederation along with the Habr Je'lo, Sanbuur and Tol Je'lo clans. Politically however, the Ibran part of the Habr Je'lo.
