Hanaro Card is contactless smart card used in the public transportation system in Busan,South Korea. First used in 1997,the Hanaro Card is now also used for paying at parking lots and toll booths.
The Hanaro system was adopted by Busan City in February 1998. This created the first integrated transport smart payment system in the world. [1]

WiBro is a wireless broadband Internet technology developed by the South Korean telecoms industry. WiBro is the South Korean service name for IEEE 802.16e international standard. By the end of 2012,the Korean Communications Commission intends to increase WiBro broadband connection speeds to 10Mbit/s,around ten times the 2009 speed,which will complement their 1Gbit/s fibre-optic network. The WiBro networks were shut down at the end of 2018.
Busan Metro Line 1 is the north-south route of the Busan Metro. It is 40.4 kilometres (25.1 mi) long with 40 stations,and is considered the second longest line of the Busan Metro system,just behind Line 2. But with Line 1 going to regions such as Jagalchi Station,Busan Station,Seomyeon Station,Dongnae Station,and Nopo Station,it is deemed the most popular line of all of the Busan Metro system. Its parent-generation card is Seoul Transportation Card,a world-first commercial-used RF card for transportation ¹. The Korean system integrator Intec and Seoul Bus Union first launched a test of their system in a trial from October to December 1995. Old Seoul Transportation Card and T-money can be used along with Upass.

The Donghae Line is a railway line connecting Busanjin station to Yeongdeok in South Korea. The literal meaning of its name,the "East Sea Line," reflects its position along the nation's East coast. It merged with the Donghae Nambu Line on December 30,2016,and will merge with the Donghae Bukbu Line.
