Konsert Lentera Timur was a concert residency by Malaysian recording artist, Siti Nurhaliza. Held on four non consecutive nights in September 2013 at Istana Budaya, this was her first concert in which the songs performed were mainly driven by traditional Malay and folk music genres. Many of the songs were taken or derived from her four solo traditional albums: Cindai (1997), Sahmura (2000), Sanggar Mustika (2002) and Lentera Timur (2008). During the course of the four-night concert, she performed more than 30 songs and was backed by 40-piece traditional Malaysian orchestra, Orkestra Traditional Malaysia (OTM). The musical backing included an amalgamation of sounds from different traditional musical instruments, including strings and percussion that are synonymous with Malaysia's multiracial culture – Rebana, Er-hu, Sitar and Sapeh.

<i>Bravo 5</i> 2015 Malaysian film

Bravo 5 is a Malaysian Malay-language action war film directed by Yeop Hitler and starring Beto Kusyairy, Remy Ishak, Soffi Jikan, Sashi Tharan, Xavier Fong, Frank Peterson and Chew Kin Wah. The film tells the story of five commandos of the Malaysian Army's Special Service Group trying to curb the rise of MCP terrorist operations. Bravo 5 was released on 10 September 2015. The film was dedicated to the fighters who were killed during the Malaysian Second Emergency/Insurgency (1968-1989).

Mat Kilau: Kebangkitan Pahlawan is a 2022 Malaysian Malay-language epic biographical action adventure film that is inspired by historical events directed by Syamsul Yusof, starring Adi Putra as Mat Kilau bin Imam Rasu, a Malay warrior who fought the British colonialists during the Pahang Uprising in Pahang, British Malaya before independence. The film features Beto Kusyairy, Fattah Amin, Yayan Ruhian, Geoff Andre Feyaerts and Johan As'ari in supporting roles.
