Hans Kesting (born 6 October 1960) is a Dutch actor. [1] He appeared in more than fifty films since 1987. He was diagnosed with HIV in 1996. [2] In 2016 he was awarded the Louis d'Or. [3]

Ed Gebski is an artist from Amsterdam. His monumental canvasses are created in a darkroom where he works with silver-nitrate/oil paint. Only when the paintings are exposed to light do they reveal their colour and presentation. This process is akin to the development of photographs. The paint emulsion is removed after the painting process and then transparent colours remain on the canvas.

Kees Brusse was a Dutch actor, film director and screenwriter. Ivo van Hove is a Belgian theatre director. He is known for his Off-Broadway avant-garde experimental theatre productions. For over twenty years, he served as the director of the Toneelgroep Amsterdam. On Broadway, he has directed revival productions of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge, and The Crucible, Lee Hall's Network in 2018, and Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim's West Side Story in 2020. Among his numerous awards he has received a Tony Award and a Laurence Olivier Award for A View from the Bridge. He was made a Knight of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in France in 2004, and a Commander in the Order of the Crown in 2016.

It is awarded by the Vereniging van Schouwburg- en Concertgebouwdirecties (VSCD), the main trade organisation for theaters in The Netherlands. The award itself is a golden medal, currently designed by Eric Claus. It was named after the Dutch actor Louis Bouwmeester. Its female counterpart is the Theo d'Or.

Previous designers were Nic Jonk, and Pépé Grégoire.
