Panaji is the capital of the Indian state of Goa and the headquarters of North Goa district. Previously, it was the territorial capital of the former Portuguese India. Assagao is a village in Bardez, Goa, India located about 4 kilometres west of Mapusa. Assagao is known as the Land of Flowers as well as several other nicknames – “Goa’s South Extension”, ‘Artist’s village’, “The Beverly Hills of Goa”, “Goa’s Tuscany”. The village is surrounded by hills. Querim Beach is the sandy coastline of the Querim village of Pernem, Goa. It is the largest northernmost beach in Goa. There is also a resort by the name "Hotel Hill Rock" next to it, which is known for its peaceful atmosphere and has a small but well equipped Bistro on the property. On the highest most cliff at the Tiracol side is the Fort Tiracol, which is now converted into a heritage hotel.
St. Jerome Church is a parish of the Catholic Church in Mapusa, Goa, India, in the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman. It is dedicated to the Church Father St. Jerome. The church also holds the shrine of Our Lady of Miracles and the feast day of Miracles is thronged by thousands of devotees every year.
