Harald Gimpel (born 6 September 1951 in Wallendorf, Saxony-Anhalt) is a former East German slalom canoeist who competed in the 1970s. He won the bronze medal in the K-1 event at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. [1]
Gimpel also won two bronze medals at the 1975 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships in Skopje in the K-1 event and the K-1 team event.
Štěpánka Hilgertová is a former Czechoslovak-Czech slalom canoeist who competed at the international level from 1988 to 2017. Competing in six Summer Olympics, she won two gold medals in the K1 event, earning them in 1996 and 2000.
