Hardcore is the fifth live album by American blues rock musician Walter Trout, credited to the Walter Trout Power Trio. Recorded over four shows on the Hard Core Blues Rock Tour in the UK and the Netherlands between March and April 2007, it was self-produced by Trout and released independently on July 6, 2007.
During the tour in promotion of the 2006 album Full Circle , Walter Trout and the Radicals were forced to perform a show in London without keyboardist Sammy Avila, when his Hammond organ broke just before the band were due onstage. After the show, Trout decided to embark on a short tour with this reduced lineup in the spring of 2007; the tour was described as a "unique one time only" arrangement, which Trout assured he had "absolutely no plans to make this a permanent version of the Radicals". [1] Dubbed the Hard Core Blues Rock Tour, the run included a total of 19 shows in the UK and Europe between March 15 and April 3, 2007. [2]
The band surprise-released Hardcore, featuring tracks from the "power trio" tour, as an independent release through online platforms CD Baby and iTunes in July 2007. [3] The album includes nine tracks recorded at four shows on the tour – three at the Mick Jagger Centre in Dartford on March 17, one at Albert Halls in Bolton on March 25, two at Theater Romein in Leeuwarden on April 2, and three at De Bosuil in Weert on April 3. Trapeze were an English rock band from Cannock, Staffordshire. Formed in 1969, the band originally featured former The Montanas members John Jones and Terry Rowley (keyboards), and former Finders Keepers members Glenn Hughes, Mel Galley and Dave Holland (drums). Jones and Rowley left the band following the release of their self-titled debut album in 1970, with the lineup of Hughes, Galley and Holland continuing as a trio. After the release of Medusa later in 1970 and You Are the Music... We're Just the Band in 1972, Hughes left Trapeze in 1973 to join Deep Purple.
Iron Maiden is the debut studio album by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden, released on 14 April 1980 by EMI Records in the UK and Harvest and Capitol Records in the US. The North American version included the song "Sanctuary", released in the UK as a non-album single. In 1998, along with the rest of the band's pre-1995 releases, Iron Maiden was remastered with "Sanctuary" added in all territories. However, 2014 vinyl reissues, 2015 digital releases and 2018 CD reissues use the original track listing across the globe. It is the band's only album to feature guitarist Dennis Stratton.
Having a Rave Up with the Yardbirds, or simply Having a Rave Up, is the second American album by the English rock group the Yardbirds. It was released in November 1965, eight months after Jeff Beck replaced Eric Clapton on guitar. It includes songs with both guitarists and reflects the group's blues rock roots and their early experimentations with psychedelic and hard rock. The title refers to the driving "rave up" arrangement the band used in several of their songs.
Rock in Rio is a live album and video by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden, recorded at the Rock in Rio festival, Brazil in 2001 on the last night of the Brave New World Tour. The band played to approximately 250,000 people; the second largest crowd of their career and with the relatively recent return of lead singer Bruce Dickinson and guitarist Adrian Smith to the band, they recorded their fifth live release.
"Modern Love" is a song written by the English singer-songwriter David Bowie. It was released as the opening track on his 1983 album Let's Dance and issued as the third single from the album later in the year. Co-produced by Bowie and Nile Rodgers of the American band Chic, it is a rock song that contains elements of new wave music. It was recorded at the Power Station in Manhattan and was one of the first tracks recorded for the album. It was performed by Bowie on the Serious Moonlight Tour, where it often closed the shows. A music video for the song, directed by Jim Yukich and featuring a performance of the song during the tour, was released in 1983 and played frequently on MTV.

Meltdown: Live in Mexico City is a Blu-ray and triple-disc CD live album by the English progressive rock band King Crimson. Recorded over five nights in July 2017, Meltdown was released on 20 October 2018 and was produced by the band's keyboardist Bill Rieflin from Multitrack recordings. The release was announced in August 2018 and was preceded by streaming of the track "Indiscipline" on 4 October.
Shaw Davis & the Black Ties is an American blues rock and hard rock trio. Formed in 2016 in Pompano Beach, Florida, United States, they have released three albums with their most recent being 2021's Red Sun Rebellion issued on Chin Music Records. They took part in the 2018 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. Having played over 300 shows, the band have shared the stage with Samantha Fish, Chris Duarte, Mike Zito, Albert Castiglia, G. E. Smith and Anthony Gomes, Foghat, the Guess Who, Blackberry Smoke, the Georgia Satellites, Bishop Gunn, Walter Trout, Eric Tessmer, Samantha Fish and Blue Öyster Cult.
Life in the Jungle is the first solo album by American blues rock musician Walter Trout, credited to the Walter Trout Band. Recorded in the summer of 1989 following Trout's departure from John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers after four years, it was originally released that year in Scandinavia by Bozz, a sub-division of Swedish record label Electra. A full release across wider Europe and the UK followed in 1990, after Trout signed with Dutch record label Provogue Records.
Transition is the third solo studio album by American blues rock musician Walter Trout, credited to the Walter Trout Band. Recorded between May and June 1992 at Front Page Recorders in Costa Mesa, California, it was produced by Kevin Beamish and released on October 9, 1992, by Provogue Records. The album reached number 46 on the Dutch Albums Chart and was supported by the release of two singles: "Running in Place" and "Motivation of Love".
Tellin' Stories is the fourth solo studio album by American blues rock musician Walter Trout, credited to the Walter Trout Band. Recorded between August and September 1993 at Battery Studios in London, England, it was produced by Tony Platt and released on June 28, 1994, as Trout's only album for Silvertone Records. The album reached number 66 on the Dutch Albums Chart, number 84 on the UK Albums Chart and number 4 on the UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart.
Breaking the Rules is the fifth solo studio album by American blues rock musician Walter Trout, credited to the Walter Trout Band. Recorded from January 15 to February 28, 1995, at Soundcastle in Los Angeles, California, it was Trout's first album to be self-produced, and was released on June 6, 1995, by Provogue Records. The album reached number 58 on the Dutch Albums Chart and number 4 on the UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart.
Positively Beale St. is the sixth solo studio album by American blues rock musician Walter Trout, the last to be credited to the Walter Trout Band. Recorded between February and March 1997 at 315 Beale St. Recording in Memphis, Tennessee, it was produced by Jim Gaines and released on May 19, 1997, by Provogue Records. The album charted at number 65 on the Dutch Albums Chart and number 9 on the UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart. Following its initial release in Europe, Positively Beale St. was issued in North America by Ruf Records under the title Walter Trout, credited to Trout as a solo artist.
Livin' Every Day is the seventh solo studio album by American blues rock musician Walter Trout, credited to Walter Trout and the Free Radicals. Recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis, Tennessee, it was produced by Jim Gaines and released on May 1, 1999, by Ruf Records. The album features returning Walter Trout Band members Jimmy Trapp and Bernard Pershey, alongside keyboardist Paul Kallestad who had replaced Martin Gerschwitz in 1998.
Face the Music (Live on Tour) is the second solo live album by American blues rock musician Walter Trout, credited to Walter Trout and the Free Radicals. Released in Europe only on January 31, 2000, by Provogue Records, it features recordings from the group's 1999 worldwide concert tour in promotion of Livin' Every Day, including performances at both European and North American shows. The album was later reissued to mark the 25th anniversary of Trout's solo career in 2014.

Released on June 13, 2000, by Ruf Records, it features a recording of the group's performance at the Tampa Bay Blues Festival in Tampa Bay, Florida on March 26, 2000, during their tour in promotion of 1999's Livin' Every Day. Relentless is the fourth solo live album and the first official video album by American blues rock musician Walter Trout, credited to Walter Trout and the Radicals. Released on August 12, 2003, by Ruf Records, it features a recording of the group's performance at the Paradiso in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on May 14, 2003. The video version, titled Relentless: The Concert, features additional tracks, including two recorded at a show the night before at the same venue.
Deep Trout: The Early Years of Walter Trout is the first compilation album by American blues rock musician Walter Trout. Initially released in Europe by Provogue Records on January 31, 2005, it features tracks from several of Trout's early solo albums, in addition to three previously unreleased recordings. The album was later issued in North America by Ruf Records with an amended track listing, when it reached number 13 on the US Billboard Blues Albums chart.
Full Circle is the ninth studio album by American blues rock musician Walter Trout, credited to Walter Trout and Friends. Recorded between January and March 2006 in Canada and California, it was self-produced by Trout and released on June 20, 2006, by Ruf Records and Provogue Records. Alongside the main lineup of Trout, bassist Rick Knapp and drummer Richie Hayward, the album features guest performers on every track, including Trout's former bandmates John Mayall and Coco Montoya. Full Circle reached number 2 on the US Billboard Blues Albums chart and number 16 on the UK Jazz & Blues Albums Chart.
