Hardcore Breakout USA Volume 1,2,3,... [1] is an internationally distributed compilation album that collects Volumes 1,2 and 3 of Hardcore Breakout USA series. It features American and UK artists mostly that are on New Red Archives records. Volume 1 was originally released in 1990 [2] as a double LP and cassette, but was then subsequently also released as a CD. The New Red Archives pressing of the album was issued as a single LP in 1990. The Japanese version of Volume 1 was compiled and released in 1994. The second version Hardcore Breakout USA Volume 2 [3] was compiled and released in 1995. Volume 2 is a compilation album of American and UK artists mostly that are on New Red Archives records. It was originally released in 1995 as a CD. The album was compiled by New Red Archives. The Japanese version of Volume 2 was compiled and released in 1995. Volume 3 was Compiled in 2003. Volume 3 is also compilation album of American and UK artists mostly that are on New Red Archives records. Hardcore Breakout 1,2,3... was re-released by Cleopatra Records [4] in 2013.

New Red Archives is an American independent record label based in California's San Francisco Bay Area, mainly home to punk rock bands. Started in 1987, the label began by releasing punk and hardcore punk records on coloured vinyl. Starting in summer 1990 after a re-location from Brooklyn, the label was based out of Hollywood. In 1996 The label signed an exclusive distribution deal with Dutch East India Trading. By 1998 the label had moved to San Francisco. Starting in the early 2000s the label released CDs as well as vinyl, through the distribution company Lumberjack Mordam Music Group.

Ultraman are a punk rock band from St. Louis, Missouri, formed in 1986, with members Tim Jamison (vocals), Rob Wagoner (guitar), John Corcoran (bass), Bob Zuellig (guitar), and Mike Doskocil (drums).

Hogan's Heroes was an American hardcore punk band formed in New Jersey in 1984. During their time they recorded three full lengths for California label New Red Archives. The band broke up in 1993.

JFA is an American hardcore punk band formed in 1981, with roots in Arizona and in Southern California skateboard culture. The original members include Brian Brannon (vocals), Don "Redondo" Pendleton (guitar), Michael Cornelius (bass), and Mike "Bam-Bam" Sversvold (drums). Alan Bishop of Sun City Girls also played bass for a time. The band was pivotal in the development of the skate punk and Skate Rock scenes. <span class="mw-page-title-main">Corrupted Ideals</span> 1988 punk rock band

Corrupted Ideals is a punk rock band from Long Beach, California formed in 1988. The band's early line-up, which appeared on their first full-length LP, Join the Resistance, included Paul Kelly and Mike Nigro, on vocals and guitar, respectively. They wrote most of the material together, with Mike writing most of the music, and Paul contributing most of the lyrics. The band's second release, Anti-Generation, came with a lineup change, including Pete "Action Man" Archer on bass, and Anthony Guarino on drums. Nicky Garratt also played guitar on portions of Anti-Generation, including the CI cover of the UK Subs, "Telephone Numbers." Pete and Anthony played in another band together in the mid-1980s, called Violent Outrage (a band that played with Corrupted Ideals regularly in the mid-late 1980s. This line up changed slightly a week before touring the Western US, with Pete moving to bass in the Stitches, and Anthony moving to bass, as the band was able to recruit celebrated punk rock drummer Sean Antillon to play drums. Sean is known best for playing drums for the Weirdos, but also has played for the Gears, the Stains, the Skulls, and many other early LA bands who reformed. Currently, Corrupted Ideals lineup includes Steve Swailes of the Hitchhikers playing guitar, Paul Kelly on vocals, Anthony Guarino playing bass, and Sean Antillon on drums.
