Harry Sutcliffe is a British composer, musician and sound engineer, probably best known for his sequencing and programming work with numerous British pop-music bands.
Sutcliffe began playing bass guitar and drums for various local bands before gaining a position at a local independent label, Wye Records who had previously been contracted with UB40. After gaining an experience with the A&R side of the business, to which Harry would later return, he worked as a freelance songwriter composing and arranging background music for television shows and commercials. His work on this front got him noticed and he subsequently gained work as a respected audio programmer particularly with regards to working on Oberheim_DMX and also Linn Drum LM1, as well as respected sound engineer in various studios working alongside numerous record producers including Pascal Gabriel, Hugh Padgham, Simon Fung, Christopher Neil, Ricki Wilde, Mike Batt, Axel Kröll, Chris Hughes and Mike Edwards. His studio and live work has included working with Deacon Blue, And Why Not, [1] Aztec Camera, Meja, Janet Jackson, Level 42, Atomic Kitten, Richard Darbyshire, Ellis, Beggs and Howard, [2] Andrew Roachford, Darren Hayes, The Corrs, Do, Living Colour, Eros Ramazzotti, EMF, Martine McCutcheon, Tears For Fears, Axel Bauer, Robbie Williams, Sonique, Lily Allen, Katie Melua, Gary Numan, Mecano, Garbage and Jesus Jones.
Sutcliffe latterly formed a group called There She Was, engineering as well producing their recorded material. [3] This group had become known around the UK for their live performances and post-punk sound and often headlined local festivals with other successful bands including Pop Will Eat Itself and Ned's Atomic Dustbin.
In the late 1990s he moved into the business side of the music industry, initially within A&R for Arista Records working closely with Blondie, Natalie Imbruglia, Kent, Five, Beth Orton, Avril Lavigne, Jennifer Brown, Howard Donald, Whitney Houston, TLC, Westlife and Death in Vegas. He also returned to the studio to work on producing material for Nan Vernon formerly of The Spiritual Cowboys
Nicholas Beggs is an English musician, noted for playing the bass guitar and the Chapman Stick; he is a member of the Mute Gods and Kajagoogoo, formerly also a part of Iona and Ellis, Beggs, & Howard and plays in the band of Steven Wilson. He is known for modifying a Chapman Stick into a fully MIDI-capable instrument triggering MIDI from both bass and melody strings; he calls it the Virtual Stick.
Subway to Sally is a German folk metal band founded in Potsdam in the early 1990s. Their music has clear folk and medieval influences, later also adding gothic and metal elements. With their continuous inclusion of oriental sounds and elements of classical music and the use of instruments seldom seen in metal bands such as bagpipes, shawm, violin, hurdy-gurdy and lute, Subway to Sally has acquired the label of medieval metal. The band has released 12 studio albums, two live albums, and two live DVDs. Their fame is centered mainly in the German-speaking countries, having played only a handful of concerts outside of that area.
Los Planetas is a Spanish indie rock group from the city of Granada which started out in the second half of the 1990s and continue now through the 2000s. The group's first hit was "Qué puedo hacer" from their album "Super 8", although they had previously had some success with various demos on a contest run by Spanish national public radio station Radio 3.
Caifanes is a rock band from Mexico City. Formed in 1987, the group achieved international fame during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The original lineup consisted of Saúl Hernández, Sabo Romo, Alfonso André (drums), and Diego Herrera. Alejandro Marcovich later joined Caifanes as lead guitar player. Caifanes’ style can be described as a hybrid of British new wave, progressive rock and Latin percussion underscored by deep, somber, and Latin American-Mexican-Spanish-influenced lyrics and the vocal style of Saúl Hernández. Members of Caifanes have cited The Cure, The Beatles and King Crimson as major influences, with Adrian Belew having produced their third studio album, El Silencio, as well as making a guest appearance on it.

Baccara was a female vocal duo formed in 1977 by Spanish artists Mayte Mateos and María Mendiola. H-Blockx is a German rock band founded in Münster in 1991. After the success of their debut album in 1994, Time to Move, the band received a nomination for Best Breakthrough Artist at the 1995 MTV Europe Music Awards. In 1999, the World Wrestling Federation contacted them to record a song, "Oh Hell Yeah", for wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin, and their song "Countdown to Insanity" appears in the European version of the 2007 video game Rock Band.
