Harsharan Singh Balli (13 October 1948) is an Indian politician belonging to BJP , who was Industry Minister in the Delhi state government of Madan Lal Khurana. He is the most powerful politician based in west Delhi.
H.S. Balli (Harsharan Singh Balli) can be described as a stalwart BJP leader and a son of a family of freedom fighters and the only Sikh in the history of Delhi who has been elected as the Member of Legislative Assembly 4 times consecutively and has been Member of Municipal Corporation of Delhi and served as a Minister under 3 Chief Ministers in Delhi namely Shri Madan Lal Khurana ji, Late Shri Sahib Singh Verma ji and late Smt. Sushma Swaraj ji. Also he was the Chairman of the Assurance Committee for 6 years. Since the first legislative assembly he has been the dominant winner in the polls and has been the MLA for 20 years from 1993 to 2013. He was also the founder of BJP Sikh cell. He is a member of the Steering Committee of World Punjabi Organisation [1] (WPO).

On 11 April 2007, the Supreme Court of India sentenced Balli to three months in jail after he confessed that last year he had indeed broken the seals of 22 shops, which were sealed on the court's orders in west Delhi.[ citation needed ]

Adesh Kumar Gupta is an Indian politician. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and the former president of party's Delhi unit. Starting his political career as a twelfth-grade student when he joined the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, he remained active in student politics when he attended Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University. His association with the Ram Mandir Movement led to his arrest and he was imprisoned for a year at Kanpur in 1991. He joined the Bharatiya Yuva Morcha when he moved to Delhi from his home district of Kannauj in 1994. He campaigned in the 2017 Municipal Corporation of Delhi election successfully from the West Patel Nagar ward and became the Mayor of North Delhi Municipal Corporation in April 2018, remaining in office till 29 April 2019. He was appointed president of Delhi BJP on 2 June 2020 by the National President of the BJP, Jagat Prakash Nadda, following the resignation of Manoj Tiwari. On 11 December 2022, he stepped down from the post of State BJP President after the party's loss in the MCD Elections of 2022. He was replaced by Virendra Sachdeva.
