Harsharan Singh Balli (13 October 1948) is an Indian politician belonging to Aam Aadmi Party, Ex-BJP leader, who was Industrial Minister in the Delhi state government of Madan Lal Khurana. He is the most powerful politician based in west Delhi.

H.S. Balli (Harsharan Singh Balli) can be described as a stalwart BJP leader and a son of a family of freedom fighters and the only Sikh in the history of Delhi who has been elected as the Member of Legislative Assembly 4 times consecutively and has been Member of Municipal Corporation of Delhi and served as a Minister under 3 Chief Ministers in Delhi namely Shri Madan Lal Khurana ji, Late Shri Sahib Singh Verma ji and late Smt. Sushma Swaraj ji. Also he was the Chairman of the Assurance Committee for 6 years. Since the first legislative assembly he has been the dominant winner in the polls and has been the MLA for 20 years from 1993 to 2013. He was also the Founder of BJP Sikh Cell. He is a member of the Steering Committee of World Punjabi Organisation [1] (WPO).

2019 Supreme Court verdict on Ayodhya dispute Indian land dispute ruling

The final judgement in the Ayodhya dispute was declared by the Supreme Court of India on 9 November 2019. The Supreme Court ordered the disputed land to be handed over to a trust to build the Ram Janmabhoomi temple. The court also ordered the government to give an alternative 5 acres of land in another place to the Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board for the purpose of building a mosque as a replacement for the demolished Babri Masjid.

He was appointed president of Delhi BJP on 2 June 2020 by the National President of the BJP, Jagat Prakash Nadda, following the resignation of Manoj Tiwari.
