Haslett High School is a public high school located in Haslett, Michigan. It is the only high school in the Haslett Public Schools district. It is located a few miles northeast of Michigan State University on Marsh Road between Haslett Road and Grand River Avenue.
In September 1900, a two-room brick building was constructed on present-day School Street near the current location of Vera Ralya Elementary School. "Haslett School" was taught in this building until 1910 when a second story addition was constructed adding more classrooms. In 1921, more additions were made and the school was named "Haslett Agricultural School." Continuous additions occurred until 1957 when "Wilkshire School," now the "Wilkshire Early Childhood Center," was built. Later that year—and the following year—land was bought for the building of a new high school south of Franklin Street. By 1958, Haslett High School was built with room for 400 students. [6]
Jackson is the only city in, and seat of government of, Jackson County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 31,309. Located along Interstate 94 and U.S. Route 127, it is approximately 40 miles (64 km) west of Ann Arbor and 35 miles (56 km) south of Lansing. WKAR-TV is a PBS member television station licensed to East Lansing, Michigan, United States, serving central southern Michigan. The station is owned by Michigan State University (MSU) and operated as part of WKAR Public Media, along with NPR members WKAR and WKAR-FM (90.5). The three stations share studios in the Communication Arts and Sciences Building, at the southeast corner of Wilson and Red Cedar Roads on the MSU campus in East Lansing; WKAR-TV's transmitter is located on Kinawa Road in Meridian Charter Township between East Lansing and Williamston.

The Edwin C. Denby High School is a public secondary education school located at 12800 Kelly Road in northeastern Detroit, Michigan. Denby High opened in 1930, and the building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. It is a part of Detroit Public Schools Community District.
Okemos High School is a public high school in Okemos, Michigan, United States. It is the only high school in the Okemos Public Schools district. It is located southeast of the main campus of Michigan State University, between Bennett and Jolly Roads on the North and South, and Hulett and Hagadorn Roads on the East and West. The current building was completed in 1994, replacing the now Chippewa Middle School building as the district's high school. Former students of Chippewa 7-8 School comprise the school's student body.
J. W. Sexton High School is a public school located on the western edge of Lansing, Michigan, United States, in the Lansing School District. The principal is currently Daniel Boggan. The Sexton J-Dubbs are members of the Capital Area Activities Conference. The school has a fierce rivalry with the Everett Vikings of Everett High School on the south side of the city. In March 2012 the Lansing School District announced that Sexton would house 7-12 grades beginning in the 2012–2013 school year.
Lansing Eastern High School is a public, magnet high school in Lansing, Michigan as part of the Lansing School District. Eastern International Baccalaureate Magnet High School is the only high school in mid-Michigan authorized to offer students the opportunity to earn an International Baccalaureate Diploma. Eastern also has the second-largest alumni association in the United States. It was located on the city's east-side on Pennsylvania Avenue, one block north of Michigan Avenue but is now located on Marshall Street on the corner of Marshall Street and Saginaw Street. The building was connected with former Pattengill Middle School next to Sparrow Hospital. In 2007, Sparrow purchased the Pattengill property to create a parking lot. With the deconstruction of Pattengill Middle School, Lansing Eastern became the oldest operational school in the Lansing School District. It opened in 1928 as the second high school in the city. The athletic teams were named Quakers because the school was located on Pennsylvania Avenue and a Society of Friends (Quaker) meeting house was located across the street. In March 2012 the Lansing School District announced that Eastern would house 7-12 grades beginning in the 2012–2013 school year. On January 20, 2016, the Lansing School Board voted to sell the school to the Edward Sparrow Hospital Association for approximately $2.5 million. Students were relocated to the former Pattengill Middle School in Fall 2019.

Williamston Community Schools (WCS) is the K-12 public school district centered in Williamston, Michigan. The district covers 75 square miles (190 km2) in parts of Williamstown, Locke, Leroy, Wheatfield, Alaiedon, and Meridian townships. It includes portions of Okemos and a small sliver of Haslett. WCS is a part of the Ingham County Intermediate School District.

She was nominated on May 24, 2009, by President Barack Obama, along with Charles Bolden as NASA Administrator. She was confirmed by the United States Senate by unanimous consent on July 15, 2009. She left the position in September 2013 to become General Manager of the Air Line Pilots Association.

Lake Lansing Park North is a public park in Haslett, Michigan covering over 530 acres (0.83 sq mi). The park covers a variety of ecosystems, including mature oak and maple woodlands, marshlands, pine plantations and transitional field areas. The park entrance is located at 6260 East Lake Drive across from the Lake Lansing boat launch. There are several trails for hiking in the spring, summer and fall months, and cross country skiing in the winter. There is a per vehicle entrance fee year-round of $3 for Ingham County residents and $5 for non-residents seven days a week. Annual passes are available for $35 for Ingham County residents and $45 for non-Ingham County residents.
