Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, often referred to by his initials, HSY, (born 26 October 1976) is a Pakistani fashion designer and television host. [2]

Born to a Arain family who were active in politics. [3] His father, Mian Hamid Yasin, was a chief whip in Zulfikar Ali Bhutto government. His parents separated when he was in his early age. [4] After separation, his mother moved to the United States. He received his early schooling in New York, USA. He was salutatorian of the Pakistan School of Fashion Design (class of 2000). Yasin is affiliated with the La Chambre Syndicale De La Couture Parisienne in France. He holds an honours degree in couture[ citation needed ] and serves on the board of directors and the executive committee of the fashion institute he graduated from.[ citation needed ] Hassan Shehryar hosts a prime-time talk show Tonite with HSY on Hum Sitaray. [5]

Starting as a fashion choreographer in 1994, [6] Yasin worked both as a choreographer and designer to various shows within Pakistan and international shows including Dubai, London, New York City and Toronto. [7]

HSY

2000 marked the introduction of Yasin's own fashion label, HSY. Starting as a bridal and formal wear couture house, it became one of Pakistan's most recognized fashion labels and employs over 350 people and six stores internationally (including Dubai), with the flagship housed in Lahore. [8] In 2003, Karachi-based Diva Magazine placed Yasin on the cover of their "Most Powerful People" issue and as one of their 10 "Faces of the Year". [9]

In 2007, Yasin introduced a jewellery line under the HSY brand.

Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design, also referred as PIFD, is a public design institution primarily located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was established in 1994 as the Pakistan School of Fashion Design (PSF) by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, a department within the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training. Tonite with HSY is a Pakistani prime time talk show hosted by Hassan Sheheryar Yasin (HSY) on Hum Sitaray. The show premiered on 13 September 2014. It is presented by Djuice and produced by Hum Television Network. Tonite with HSY represents the debut of its star, prominent fashion designer HSY, as a television host. Prior to the show, HSY had only made brief television appearances other than as a designer on fashion shows. The show's associate producers are Nida Lakhani and Sara Bhatti, of Hum TV, and its executive producers are Hum TV CEO Sultana Siddiqui and Hum Sitaray vice president Khalid Soorty. Tonite with HSY is recorded at Hum TV Studio in I.I Chundrigar Road, Karachi.

Vasay Chaudhry is a Pakistani screenwriter, actor, director, producer, host, and comedian. He is best known for writing sitcoms and comedy-dramas for Pakistani televisions. He is also known for writing films. He wrote Main Hoon Shahid Afridi and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani. Maison Margiela, formerly Maison Martin Margiela, is a French luxury fashion house headquartered in Paris and founded in 1988 by Belgian designer Martin Margiela. The house produces both haute couture-inspired artisanal collections and ready-to-wear collections, with the former influencing the designs of the latter. 16th Lux Style Awards

The 16th Lux Style Awards ceremony, presented by Lux to honor the best in fashion, music, films and Pakistani television of 2016, took place on April 19, 2017 at Expo Center, Karachi, Sindh. During the ceremony, LUX presented the Lux Style Awards in four segments including Film, Fashion, Television, and Music. The series was created by Peerzada in collaboration with Muhammad Adnan Butt, CEO Dot Republic Media. Mian Hamid Yasin is a Pakistani politician who had been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan between 1972 and 1977. He is the father of Pakistani fashion designer and host Hassan Sheheryar Yasin.
