Everyday is the fourth studio album by the American rock band Dave Matthews Band. It was released on February 27, 2001 through RCA Records. It is the band's first album to be produced by Glen Ballard, who also co-wrote all twelve of the album's songs with guitarist and vocalist Dave Matthews. The album marked a shift in the band's sound, prominently featuring electric guitar and concise pop arrangements.

Head East is an American rock band from Illinois. The band was formed by singer John Schlitt, guitarist Danny Piper, keyboardist Roger Boyd, bassist Larry Boyd, and drummer Steve Huston. They met and formed the band while John, Roger, and Larry were studying at the University of Illinois, Steve was at Eastern Illinois University 45 miles away and Danny was not in college. As of 2024, Roger Boyd is the only remaining original member: Piper left in 1972; Larry Boyd left in 1974; Schlitt took a break for part of 1973–74 before leaving in 1980; and Huston took a break for part of 1973–74 before leaving in 1983. Mike Somerville (guitar) and Dan Birney (bass) replaced Piper and Larry Boyd during the band's 1970s heyday, while the entire lineup has gone through numerous changes since the 1980s.
"Never Been Any Reason" is the debut single by Head East from their debut album Flat as a Pancake. It was composed by the band's guitarist, Mike Somerville. It is often considered Head East's signature song, peaking at number 68 on the Billboard Hot 100, and continues to be played on classic rock radio stations in the US, generations after it was released.
Greatest Hits is a compilation album by Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band, released in 1994. Certified Diamond by the RIAA, it is Seger's most successful album to date. In December 2009, Billboard and Nielsen SoundScan confirmed that with nearly nine million copies sold. Bob Seger's Greatest Hits was the decade's best-selling catalog album in the United States, even out-selling The Beatles' 1 and Michael Jackson's Number Ones. By September 2011, the album had sold a total of 9,062,000 copies in the United States.
Common Thread: The Songs of the Eagles is a tribute album to American rock band Eagles. It was released in 1993 on Giant Records to raise funds for the Walden Woods Project. The album features covers of various Eagles songs, as performed by country music acts. It was certified 3× Platinum in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on June 27, 1994, honoring shipments of three million copies in the United States. Several cuts from the album all charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts after the album's release, the most successful being Travis Tritt's rendition of "Take It Easy" at number 21. Common Thread won all of its performers a Country Music Association Award for Album of the Year at the 1994 ceremony.
Russell Glyn Ballard is an English rock singer, guitarist, songwriter and producer. Originally rising to prominence as the lead singer and guitarist of the band Argent, Ballard became a prolific songwriter and producer by the late 1970s. His compositions "New York Groove", "You Can Do Magic", "Since You Been Gone", "I Surrender", "Liar", "Winning", "I Know There's Something Going On", "Can't Shake Loose", "So You Win Again" and "God Gave Rock and Roll to You" became hits for other artists during the 1970s and 1980s. He also scored several minor hits under his own name in the early and mid-1980s.

Flat as a Pancake is the debut studio album by American rock band Head East. The album was originally released independently by Pyramid Records. However, when radio stations began to play the song "Never Been Any Reason", A&M Records signed the band and re-released the album in June 1975. The album was certified gold on September 19, 1978, by the RIAA and is their only certified album. The album, which was recorded at the Golden Voice Studios in South Pekin, Illinois, is their most successful.
Gettin' Lucky is an album by the American band Head East. It was released in 1977 on A&M Records. Along with Flat as a Pancake and Head East Live!, it is one of their most renowned releases. The album peaked at No. 136 on the Billboard pop albums chart.

In Deep is the fourth studio album by English rock band Argent, released by Epic Records in October 1973. It was remade by Kiss as "God Gave Rock 'n' Roll to You II" for the film Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey in 1991. The album reached #69 in Canada.
John William Schlitt is an American singer, who was the lead singer of the Christian rock band Petra from 1986 until the band's retirement in early 2006. Prior to joining Petra in 1986, Schlitt was the lead vocalist for Head East until retiring from the band in 1980.
