Helenowo [xɛlɛˈnɔvɔ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Izbica Kujawska, within Włocławek County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. [1]

Gmina Izbica Kujawska is an urban-rural gmina in Włocławek County, Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-central Poland. Its seat is the town of Izbica Kujawska, which lies approximately 33 kilometres (21 mi) south-west of Włocławek and 69 km (43 mi) south of Toruń.

The county contains six towns: Brześć Kujawski, which lies 12 km (7 mi) south-west of Włocławek, Kowal, which lies 15 km (9 mi) south-east of Włocławek, Lubraniec, which lies 19 km (12 mi) south-west of Włocławek, Izbica Kujawska, which lies 33 km (21 mi) south-west of Włocławek, Chodecz, which lies 28 km (17 mi) south of Włocławek, and Lubień Kujawski, 29 km (18 mi) south of Włocławek.

It is situated in mid-northern Poland, on the boundary between the two historic regions from which it takes its name: Kuyavia and Pomerania. Its two chief cities, serving as the province's joint capitals, are Bydgoszcz and Toruń.

The Hortus Botanicus Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is a botanical garden belonging to Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The Tränenpalast is a former border crossing point between East and West Berlin, at Berlin Friedrichstraße station, which was in operation between 1962 and 1989. It is now a museum with exhibitions about Berlin during the Cold War period and about the process of German reunification. It was the border crossing for travellers on the S-bahn, U-bahn and trains going between East and West Germany. It was used only for westbound border crossings.
