Sanrio depicts Hello Kitty as a British anthropomorphized white cat with a red bow and no visible mouth. "Tonight I'm Getting Over You" received mostly positive reviews from music critics; some deemed it one of the best tracks on Kiss, as they did about Jepsen's claim to fame with "Call Me Maybe".

It was released as a single on May 26, 2017, to promote the film's release under the title Leap! in the United States. Batwheels is an American animated superhero children's television series that premiered on September 17, 2022, on HBO Max. It made its linear premiere on October 17, 2022, on Cartoon Network's preschool block Cartoonito. A second season premiered on January 12, 2024, and will continue in October, with a Halloween special. In October 2024, it was announced the series was renewed for a third season.
