Frontiers is the eighth studio album by the American rock band Journey, released on February 1, 1983 by Columbia Records. This was the band's last album to feature bassist Ross Valory until 1996's Trial by Fire.

The year following they changed their name to White Heart, and eventually changed the name a final time to Heart, in 1973. The album peaked at No. 2 on the UK charts-- making it the band's highest-charting album in the UK. It was their fourth consecutive album to be certified Gold by the BPI.
Lifehouse is an American rock band from Los Angeles, California comprising Jason Wade, Rick Woolstenhulme Jr., Bryce Soderberg, and Steve Stout. The band came to mainstream prominence in 2001 with the hit single "Hanging by a Moment" from their debut studio album No Name Face. The song was number one for three weeks on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart and peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The single won a Billboard Music Award for Hot 100 Single of the Year, having spent 20 weeks in the top ten and more than a year on the charts.
Kix is an American glam metal and hard rock band that achieved popularity during the 1980s. Led by frontman Steve Whiteman and bassist Donnie Purnell, the band's classic lineup was rounded out by drummer Jimmy "Chocolate" Chalfant and guitarists Ronnie "10/10" Younkins and Brian "Damage" Forsythe. Kix covered AC/DC, Aerosmith, April Wine, Led Zeppelin, and others before signing with Atlantic Records in 1981. Since peaking in the late-1980s, band members have continued to intermittently record and tour, including the Rocklahoma festival in 2008 in Oklahoma. In addition, they are a consistent presence at the annual M3 Rock Festival in the band's home state of Maryland.

The official release date for North America was 22 October. It is the first album with the new lead guitarist Dan Mitchell, keyboard player Darrel Treece-Birch and drummer Max Yates. Steve Mckenna also returned to the band, making it his first studio appearance for the band since the double compilation album "The Essential Collection 1995-2005" in 2005.

The album was mixed and mastered by Dennis Ward, while the cover was illustrated by Stan W. Decker. The first single from the album, the track "Paragon", was released on 26 May, while the second one "La Luna Dra-Cu-La", was released on 23 June. The first official music video for "Gothica", was for the track "Travellers", on the 3rd of July 2017, while "Jekyll And Hyde", the second official music video from the album, was released on the 1st of August, 2017. The album proved to be another successful release for the band, reaching the 11th position on BBC's Rock Albums Charts.

As with the previous studio album of the band, the album cover was again illustrated by Stan W. Decker. The first single of the album, the track "Jericho", was released in September 19. On the day of the release of the album, the band also released a new music video/single for the track "The Esoteric Ocean". The album proved to be yet another successful release for the band, reaching the 26th position on BBC's Rock Albums Charts and also breaking into the top Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Charts, on the 83rd position.

It is the band's first album released with their new label, Fearless Records, and is also the band's first album since the death of their long-time producer, Kato Khandwala in 2018. The album was produced by Jonathan Wyman, vocalist Taylor Momsen, and guitarist Ben Phillips, along with additional production done by Nate Yacchichino.
