Herman James Hunter (born February 14, 1961) is a former American football running back in the National Football League (NFL) who played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, and Houston Oilers. Hunter was selected by the Eagles in the 11th round of the 1985 NFL draft. [1] Hunter was a co-leader for most kickoff return yards during the 1986 NFL season with 1,007 yards. [2] He played college football for the Tennessee State Tigers.
Keith Alan Byars is an American sports broadcaster and former professional football player. He played as a fullback and tight end in the National Football League (NFL) for the Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and New York Jets. He was selected in the first round by the Eagles in the 1986 NFL draft. He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Rob Carpenter is a former American football wide receiver who played for the New England Patriots, New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). In college, he played for the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Syracuse University Orangemen and was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round of the 1991 NFL draft. He was one of a relatively small class of underclassmen, headlined by Ragib "Rocket" Ismail, to be approved in the NFL's second class of players allowed to declare themselves eligible for the draft despite remaining amateur eligibility. In addition to Carpenter, other headliners among the underclassmen were Herman Moore, Todd Marinovich and Jon Vaughn.
The 1978 Philadelphia Eagles season was the franchise's 46th season in the National Football League (NFL). The Eagles reached the postseason for the first time since their championship-winning season in 1960, which ended the longest postseason drought in the franchise's history and one of the longest in the history of the NFL. The Eagles ended their playoff drought by winning their final game in the regular season and needing either the Minnesota Vikings or Green Bay Packers to lose - both teams ended up losing and thus earned a wild card entry. This was also the first season since 1966 in which the franchise finished the season with a winning record. They were knocked out in the Wild Card by the Atlanta Falcons.
