The PGA Championship is an annual golf tournament conducted by the Professional Golfers' Association of America. It is one of the four men's major golf championships.
John Patrick Daly is an American professional golfer on the PGA Tour and PGA Tour Champions. Daly is known primarily for his driving distance off the tee, his non-country-club appearance and attitude, his exceptionally long backswing, the inconsistency of his play, and his personal life. The Motor City Open was a PGA Tour event played at various clubs in and around Detroit for just under two decades. The PGA Tour record for the longest sudden-death playoff was established at the 1949 Motor City Open. Cary Middlecoff and Lloyd Mangrum played 11 holes at Meadowbrook Country Club in Northville, Michigan and were still stalemated when darkness arrived. Tournament officials, with their mutual consent, declared them co-winners.

The Mylan Classic was a golf tournament on the Web.com Tour. It was played for the first time in September 2010 at Southpointe Golf Club in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. The title sponsor was Mylan, a pharmaceuticals company based in Canonsburg. Beginning in 2013, the tournament will invite top collegiate players to the event as the Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational had done from 2007 to 2012.
The Chile Classic was a golf tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour. It was played annually in Santiago, Chile. From 2012 to 2014, it was played at the Prince of Wales Country Club. In 2015, it moved to the Club de Golf Mapocho. It was one of several tournaments on the Nationwide Tour held outside the United States. The 2015 purse was $600,000, with $108,000 going to the winner.
