The Labatt Open was a golf event on the PGA Tour that was played in Canada from 1953 to 1957. It was sponsored by the Labatt Brewing Company, and played at several different venues. [1] It was canceled after the 1957 season when suitable dates in 1958 could not be agreed. [2]
Billy Casper won the first of his 51 PGA Tour wins at this event in 1956. [3]

John Joseph Burke Jr. was an American professional golfer who was most prominent in the 1950s. The son of a professional golfer, Jack Burke Sr., he won two major titles, both in 1956, the Masters and PGA Championship, and is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
The Farmers Insurance Open is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, played in San Diego, California at Torrey Pines Golf Course. The Nassau Open was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour from 1934 to 1937. It was inaugurated as the British Colonial Open, and was played at the Bahamas Golf Club in Nassau, in The Bahamas. Having been rescheduled, the fifth edition of the tournament was then cancelled shortly before it was due to be staged in January 1939.
