The Palace of Sports is an indoor sport-concert complex situated in the center of Kyiv, Ukraine. The complex is an independent state enterprise.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2006 was the 51st edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Athens, Greece, following the country's victory at the 2005 contest with the song "My Number One" by Helena Paparizou. It was the first time Greece had hosted the contest - 32 years after the country made its debut. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT), the contest was held at the Nikos Galis Olympic Indoor Hall, and consisted of a semi-final on 18 May, and the final on 20 May 2006. "The Image of You" is a song by Albanian singer Anjeza Shahini composed by Edmond Zhulali and written by Agim Doçi. The song was released as a CD single in 2004 by Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH). A rhythmic English-language electropop ballad, it lyrically explores a woman's emotions in what appears to be a whirlwind romance. The song represented Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 in Istanbul, Turkey, after Shahini won the pre-selection competition, Festivali i Këngës, with the song's Albanian-language version "Dua të jem imazhi yt". The country attempted its debut in the contest and reached the 7th place in a field of 24, receiving a total of 106 points. This remained its highest placement until their participation in 2012. During her minimalistic show of the song, Shahini was accompanied on stage by four backing vocalists.
Baku 2016 was an unsuccessful bid for the 2016 Summer Olympics by Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan. It was the first bid by the city to host the Olympic games. Baku was eliminated from the running at the announcement of the Candidate city shortlist on June 4, 2008.

The three live shows were presented by Leyla Aliyeva, Eldar Gasimov and Nargiz Birk-Petersen. It was the first Eurovision Song Contest held in a South Caucasus country, and the second one held in a Non-Aligned Movement member state.

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 was the ninth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and took place in Yerevan, Armenia at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex. It was the first time in history of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest that the contest was held in the previous year's winning country. Public Television of Armenia ARMTV was the main organizer of the show, being provided financial aid from the European Broadcasting Union made of entrance fees from the participating broadcasters, while Swedish company HD Resources assisted with the technical side of the production.

The Heydar Aliyev Baku Oil Refinery is an oil refinery located in Baku, Azerbaijan. It is currently the only oil refinery in Azerbaijan, capable of producing about 120,000 barrels (19,000 m3) of refined products per day. The refinery meets the entire domestic demand for petroleum products and exports more than 40% of the products. The plant processes 15 different products including gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, black oil, petroleum coke, asphalt, lubricants etc. It is owned and operated by SOCAR, which is the national oil company of the Azerbaijan Republic.
