Highvie Hambulo Hamududu (born 23 March 1970) [1] is a Zambian politician. He served as Member of the National Assembly for Bweengwa between 2006 and 2016.
Hamududu studied for a bachelor's degree in economics at the University of Zambia. After graduating in 1994 he worked briefly at the cabinet office as a Manpower Information Officer,after which he joined Zambia Cooperative Federation Finance Services as a District Operations Officer in Livingstone and Choma. He later worked for Commerce Bank in Lusaka as an Assistant Credit Manager. In 1996 he moved to Namibia to work as a lecturer in economics at the Institute of Higher Education. He remained at the institute until 2006 when he returned to Zambia to run for parliament. [2] [1] [3] He was elected to the National Assembly for Bweengwa constituency in the 2006 general elections as a member of the United Party for National Development (UPND),replacing the previous UPND MP Japhet Moonde died shortly before the elections. [3] He was re-elected in the 2011 general elections.
In February 2016 President Edgar Lungu claimed that he had offered Hamududu the post of Deputy Finance Minister,but had been turned down. [4] Hamududu was subsequently sidelined and not selected as a UPND candidate for the 2016 elections,with Kasautu Michelo was selected in his place. [5] While in parliament,Hamududu served as a member of Public Accounts Committee and Budget Estimates Committee and was its chairman for seven years. He also served as an Executive Committee Member of the African Parliamentary Forum on Population and Development. In March 2017 Hamududu resigned from the UPND. [6] In May 2017 he launched the free-market Party of National Unity (PNU),becoming its president. [2] The Party of National Unity was later rebranded as Party of National Unity and Progress (PNUP) in January 2021.
Apart from politics,Hamududu is an entrepreneur with business interests in real estate,education,farming and mining.

Chishimba Kambwili is a former member of the National Assembly of Zambia for Roan Constituency in Luanshya District. He has also held several posts in the cabinet. He is the former leader of the National Democratic Congress.

Edgar Chagwa Lungu is a Zambian politician who served as the sixth president of Zambia from 25 January 2015 to 24 August 2021. Under President Michael Sata,Lungu served as Minister of Justice and Minister of Defence. Following Sata's death in October 2014,Lungu was adopted as the candidate of the Patriotic Front in a Convention of the Patriotic Front in Kabwe,for the January 2015 presidential by-election,which was to determine who would serve out the remainder of Sata's term. In the election,he narrowly defeated opposition candidate Hakainde Hichilema and took office on 25 January 2015.

She first stood on the ticket of Zambian Republican Party (ZRP) in 2001,then the Movement for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD) in 2003,then the Patriotic Front (PF) in 2011,and then the UPND in 2021.
Emmanuel Tawanda Chenda is a Zambian politician and diplomat. He served as Member of the National Assembly for Bwana Mkubwa between 2011 and 2016. He also held the posts of Minister of Agriculture and Livestock,Minister of Commerce,Trade and Industry and Minister of Local Government and Housing between 2011 and 2015. In November 2017 he was appointed Ambassador to neighbouring Zimbabwe.

W.K.Mutale Nalumango is an educator and politician who is the 14th and current vice president of Zambia,the second woman to hold the position. She previously served as vice-president of the Secondary Schools’Teachers Union of Zambia before resigning to begin her political career in 2001. She first became a member of the National Assembly in 2001 as a member of the Movement for Multiparty Democracy,representing the Kaputa Constituency. She later served as deputy minister of information and deputy speaker in parliament,the first woman to hold that position.
The Party Of National Unity and Progress is a political party in Zambia. The party was originally launched in Lusaka in May 2017 as the Party of National Unity (PNU),but later relaunched and rebranded as the Party of National Unity and Progress (PNUP) in January 2021.
