Orange County, colloquially known as OC, is a county located in the Los Angeles metropolitan area in Southern California. As of the 2020 census, the population was 3,186,989, making it the third-most populous county in California, the sixth most populous in the U.S., and more populous than 27 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. Although largely suburban, it is the second most densely populated county in the state, behind San Francisco County. The county's three most populous cities are Anaheim, Santa Ana, and Irvine, each of which has a population exceeding 300,000. Santa Ana is also the county seat. Six cities in Orange County are on the Pacific coast: Seal Beach, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, and San Clemente.

Webb Corporation, opened in July 1967—including a basketball arena followed shortly by the convention hall. It holds many events, like Star Wars Celebration, VidCon, BlizzCon, Anime Expo, D23 Expo, WonderCon, NAMM Show, competitions, and more. In addition to hosting various types of conventions, the Anaheim Convention Center was used to host the wrestling during the 1984 Summer Olympics.

Anaheim GardenWalk is an outdoor entertainment and shopping center located a block east of the Disneyland Resort in the Anaheim Resort District of Anaheim, California. The center opened on June 14, 2008, during the Great Recession, and has struggled with a low occupancy rate of 55% in 2011. Most of its fashion retailers, including Tommy Bahama, Ann Taylor LOFT, and Hollister Co., have closed prior to 2014. Its most recent casualty was the UltraLuxe Cinemas which closed on August 17, 2015. However, the center has been doing better recently, but its focus is now more of a center for entertainment rather than a place for shopping. The center features House of Blues Anaheim, Bowlmor, 24 Hour Fitness, Heat Ultra Lounge, and a multitude of restaurants and shops.
Anaheim Rapid Connection (ARC) was a proposed streetcar line in Anaheim, California. It would have been located in the Anaheim Resort and Platinum Triangle, with stops at the Disneyland Resort, the Anaheim Convention Center, and the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC), among others. It has been the subject of much political controversy, which led to the project being cancelled by OCTA in 2018. Councilmembers from the cities of Anaheim and Fullerton stated opposition to the streetcar mode citing concerns about traffic impacts, safety, capital costs, and recent declining transit ridership. These cities also shared concerns about how implementation of dedicated transit lanes would impact automobile traffic.
